Honestly V rising is more what they aim to be but it's just recycled POE 1 bits, is anyone surprised the code works exactly the same.

It's poe2. You're in for a rough surprise if you expect anything fundamentaly different from poe1.

" That's the correct answer for a silly guy. Games are not made for player-count, otherwise we will have just roblox and fortnite clones and horse-girl gacha games. Path of exile wearing something else than just "calculating player base". but, this what poe 2 have slowly dying due to game being toned to poe 1 players and the entire meaningful and methodical combat doesn't exist.. lack of identity of poe 2 makes it just poe 1 without all of the poe 1 content. Poe1 needs more attention in the endgame because t16.5 and t17 are actually punishing. Currently poe2 has no hard content in the endgame, the progression stops in around 3 days where you no longer need to increase your character power because you can already 1 shot whole screen and kill the hardest bosses in a few seconds.
Itemization did already increase in current patch with abyss mods for example, i'm sure they will add more variety in next craft leagues. If they dont want life to be on tree then they shoud double the life numbers on gear and to be more on par with es, es numbers on passive tree and jewels should be halved. Comparing last epoch to poe is delusional and last epoch shouldn't be something you strive for. You mentioned that you dont want ggg to make builds for you and yet you want poe2 to be like last epoch that literally makes builds for you by design. The itemization in last epoch also isn't something you really want since you get perfect gear in 30-40 hours of gameplay. Having different objectives for map completion is a good idea. GGG can directly see when player doesn't like current direction(0.2) that's why the game was made easier and faster. GGG wants to make profit and them realizing that player doesn't really want a souls like gameplay forced them to make the changes. There is a reason why no rest for the wicked is unpopular and will probably fail as a game and i doubt they want to take that direction. Последняя редакция: ololulu#7512. " problem with life is also made by spell-casters..which are problem for everything as they create stupid supports and ascedancies that prevent the HP to be good and didn't allow warriors to stack it - but allow HP to be source of damage and survivability for casters like blood mage. While casters - stack ES and HP..by stacking ES... to 44k by simply taking just ES nodes warriors sits in math class counting it's estimated reduction. which should be inverted as it's mages to be complicated and muscles/warriors to be simple and just stacking it's buff body :v |

" Just stacking 1 defensive layer isn't the best way to build defense in poe1/poe2. As a warrior you scale life, armor and armor mitigation to elemental and chaos damage. You can reach 10k life if u want to compare to 44k es. Es means thhat you already take all prefixes and scale the passive tree so if you now count all prefixes and as many passives on the tree you probably get to the same hit pool. Right side you can build evasion and es hybrid with ghost dance and deflection. There are solutions if you know where to look and what to look for. Just because you look at your favourite streamer gear a min maxed es stacker doesnt mean everything else is unplayable. |
