My amulet is missing 1 mod (suffix I think), please help me to give an advice how to craft it with the best possible outcome.
57% max shield (prefix, defense)
47 spirit (prefix)
invocated spell have 20% chance to consume half as much Energy (prefix)
3 level of all spell skill (suffix)
25% cast speed (suffix, cast speed)
Wishes:
Increase Lightning Damage
Increase Mana Regeneration
# To Intelligence
- Should I use a normal exalted orb?
- Should I use a greater exalted Orb ?
- Should I use Omen of Homogenising Exaltation ? ( what then can be the out come ? )
- Better ideas?

"Deterministic crafting" is such a funny phrase.
Why?
Because if something isn't deterministic it doesn't count as crafting.
Crafting is the act of manually creating the thing you want to have.
It NEEDS to be deterministic or there's simply no point in it existing.
Using basic currencies on an item to let rng do a roll for what you're allowed to have, at the whim of rngesus, is not crafting. It's a bloody slot machine and not worth engaging with. It's the same as looting things off the ground, except it costs currency. It's a waste of currency.
You don't get to tell me your game has crafting until your game provides an achievable way to force it to give me exactly what I want.
And to be frank, that needs to be happening way earlier in game.
I should be able to engage with deterministic crafting while still getting my first character through the campaign.

Ground drops were exciting for you? It was basically find a decent base and slam it with augments then merge when it didn't hit anything good. Super boring imo, just felt like a scam to sell more stash tabs tbh

I think there should be not more than 1 deterministic mod being possible to craft on an item. Or 1 deterministic + 1 semi-deterministic, like unveiling (1/3)
What we have now is basically 5/6 mods are deterministic and 1 is random with high odds to be good (due to perfect exalted currrency)
Yes, it is way more expensive to do than in PoE1, but still its not that hard as well if you just play the game you get lot of currency from fast trade anyway.
The current system is very good for SSF, but trivialize the game way too much on trade.
Does it? If it does trivialize, why do I keep seeing threads complaining how difficult the game is.

Just because it's boring for you doesn't mean it's boring for others. I hope you are not thinking you represent this as the mindset of the majority and just your opinion which is fine.
