I complained about poe2 sanctum and ultimatum and its needed to be run in order to get your ascendancies... While mercenaries are OPTIMAL and even if you find them in map you are not forced to engage with their mechanic.

There is big chunk of players who love mercs just for the fact it allowed way more builds (yes, not just doryani, it even made link skills playable for people that cant play in group and SSF viable aswell!).
Maybe remove their quant stacking in group play.

A lot of people like myself truly do not give a single jack crap about challenges. Throughout my 12 years in PoE I probably opened the challenges page 3 times in total. I really couldn't care less about it.

you get 20+ just by playing the game up to finishing your atlas.

Challenge count doesn't mean diddly squat. You can play the game and not get 20+ challenges simply by refusing to interact with content you don't want to play. I have 5 level 93+ characters this league, all done within the first 3 to 4 weeks of the league, after which I quit playing until like 5 days ago, where I started up an SSF character out of boredom.

Why don't I have 20+ challenges?

- Refused to run Niko/Delve
- Refused to run Alva/Temples
- Refused to run Einhar
- Refused to enter Kingsmarch (11 months of Kingsmarch without any updates was enough of that)
- Refused to do Kirac missions
- Atlas blocked everything except Ritual/Abyss/Delirium
- Etc.

Choosing not to do the challenges or acquire the Armor Set reward doesn't make my opinion any less important than yours. Had I wanted to do the challenges to claim the Armor Set reward, I would have done so.
