Map and rare monster mods need to go away

I can guarantee that PoE 2 is not going to age well if this isn't reworked significantly. The sooner, the better.
Else, everything that was said about "meaningful combat" will be forever known as an illusion. |

It was methodical and engaging combat until the end of act 1. It completely devolve into poe 1 gameplay where it’s simply stat check to do any kind of content. I played both poe 1, 2 and both made me quit when I got one shot in the endgame without knowing what killed me.

I think OP has a good point about enemies losing their identity and becoming their list of mods by end game. It gets to a point that the mods are far more of a hazard than their innate abilities/moveset.
Might be cool if certain mods only appeared on certain mob types, or having too many mods on a rare 'upgrades' it to a mini-boss variant and deletes some mods in exchange for spongyness/new moveset. "Beidat honored the pact, though Mancy wouldn't take off Doryani’s prototype."
