"Shade Walker" Abyss mod MUST be rebalanced or removed
I think we all can collectively agree the shade walker is cancer.

Not even sure wtf happened to me, but it must be this. Rare warps on me, I roll out instantly and still lost all es and half heath.
I'm trying to kill it with long range dots because its the only way I can hit it. I really don't understand this balance of this game. There is a consistent theme- its always like 95% great. Predictable, things make sense, they line up with other things you've seen. BAM. That fucking 5% wildcard comes in. NO BRAKES, bails out the back of the van(always sunny). Huh? Abyssal death ball of doom is just chilling there. Doesn't even attack cause this hobo doesn't need to move. He just stinks. Silent but deadly, doesn't even look at you. Doesn't need to, hes got the warping aimbot. They make curses no longer aimbot you, then they bring in the Shrek aimbot. WHAM! Thats a nice boulder, get out of my swamp! DONKEY! Wtf. I would think, especially since we're sharing utility code here(should be, sometimes yeah, sometimes obviously not)- that departments would talk to other departments. At the very least. Very least. Could we have someone with some game feel/sense- have some sort of hand in the qa process. I know we're beta, but this stuff seriously shouldn't make it into beta. This is alpha shit, this is filtered out by the brain before we even write any code shit. Its BONKERS something like this gets not only out of someones mental filters- but aaaaaaallll the way into actual live gameplay. HOW. Just how. |

This league has renewed my hope in the future of poe2. I was expecting poe2 to follow a similar path as Diablo 4.
Act 4 is phenomenal. So many good changes! And I am surprised at the amount of joy I'm experiencing while playing. However, all of the positives, do not outweigh the existence of "Shade Walker". It's bad enough I rarely know or see my cause of death but knowing I'm going to die without any counter play is far worse. |
