Yeah, that's exactly my idea. Infinite portals but decreasing rewards for each death ( even no reward is fine for me ).
An example is navigating for hours in the infinite Atlas in order to get 3 Calamity Fragments for Uber Arbitrer and than die after few seconds. It's just straight not fun.

Sometimes in life you just get one try. It's a top boss that is there to test your build.

they already added more portals for lower level pinnacle content and removed XP loss when dying in pinnacle content. This season they even removed the T4 level while making the cost to attempt the content way cheaper. It does not need to be made any more easier

1 portal incentivise 1 shot build instead of learning mechanics. In order to get the promised meaningful combat there is no need of 1 portal.

having many portals will not make people abandon strong one shot builds. People will always find a way to create overpowered builds and gravitate towards them for speed farming all content

people should just admit they don't want to farm splinters or that they are getting owned by the boss due to skill issue or bad build. No need to talk about it incentivizing one shot builds

The 1 portal shtick and map failing should be removed until GGG fix their servers and shader dumps.
