Not everyone wants to play Fubgun's cookie clicker builds for 1 week for "divs/hrr" and logout

" The problem aint zooming itself. You should be able to zoom low juice content like an alch n go strat, but if you can clear the hardest content while zooming, it wrecks the game, because everyone will feel forced to follow these few builds, or they will fell like they are not doing it right. The real loot should not be gated into doind 30 maps per hour with mini map open, thousands of mobs made of paper and screen freezing. The real loot should be gated behind really hard content, with mobs that take time and effort to die. In this situation, speed aint mandatory, because you will need to engage combat. You wont be running with 200 movespeed 1 shoting everything. Instead of 30 maps per hour to get 30 divs, you would do 3 maps per hour with the same 30 divs, since loot should be tuned up to match the changes. If this happens, hundreds of builds will be viable. Zoomers will still exist, doing lower content with lower loot, which will be compensated by their insane maps per hour. But the real juiced loot shouldd not be in their reach. We saw a twitch drop with insane mechanics on druid, and some ppl were spamming ''no speed, no clear, logout, logout'' - How this behavior is good for a game. We need diversity, and when you say ''let me zoom the hardest content like its nothing'', you are killing diversity, and sticking to a gameplay formula that was really fun 10 years ago, but now it is not enough anymore. We need to do better than poe1 Последняя редакция: zepberonha#9748. Время: 4 дек. 2025 г., 18:00:48

" Prob cause d/hr builds that commonly rely on exploits are used Only Solely Entirely For RMT That is not healthy for the game economy and funds world terrorism |

" +1 another yet deadeye league. I bet druids will be piece of crap - tedious, slow and self-defeating. Yeah i know alot people will play him just to check fresh class but only few of them will drag trought t16 map

" Sure, not everyone... but most people do. |

" +1 I'd also add: Please don't remove IIR from gear. Absolutely fair to tune it so that it's not as mandatory in late Endgame as it currently is (based on what I hear). But it's currently in such a good place during the Campaign and early Endgame, at least for me - I absolutely love getting IIR on gear. |

" Just because you remove good/fast builds doesn't mean people will stop RMTing. The only way to stop RMT is to figure out ways to catch them and ban them. Curiosity is followed by ambition. Ambition, is followed by madness.

" 100 of builds should be viable with enough gear, it worked in poe 1 it will work in poe 2 aswell. U "slow n steady" folks really dont get what people want. 90% of players above lvl 90 goes for one button builds and those are the people that keeps the game healthy after launch. GGG [Removed by Support] should follow stats and u aint it. |

" You'll always get more viable builds when you shrink the power variance between the lower and upper ends of the spectrum. You could even consider this, "an objective rule of the universe" " Players use one-button AoE clear builds because they are the most efficient at making progress, and obtaining loot. Not because they want the play-style, or think it's intrinsically 'fun', generally. If the one dimensional game-play of AoE clear builds made less loot than builds with methodical gameplay, hardly anyone would play them, because they would have nothing left to offer, besides the 'automation' aspect. I broke this down in my thread here. Feel free to post your disagreements with it. I'd appreciate the bump, and I'm always looking for bad arguments to dunk on so they're on the record. " I agree, The change with lowering mob density but raising monster HP and proportionately raising their drops, is likely the most important change of the entire update. People might be upset about the lack of endgame overhaul, but it's okay. The endgame update is coming at some point, inevitably. But the rebalance of monsters was not a guarantee, so it's a huge relief to see them take notice of this. Unfortunately it's not going to be enough, and a move toward engaging or 'attrition' combat is not going to be smooth with 'incrementalism'. The idea of engaging combat, is a complete picture of several parts working together. Other parts include: - Changing player power scaling to reduce the player power curve, thus lowering player power variance, and making monsters easier to balance. Because the power of players will be more predictable. - All but eliminating player sustain (regen, leech, etc) because if players can regenerate their life instantly, then the only way to kill them becomes one-shotting their life pool, which means the best defense becomes deleting monsters with AoE screen clear before the player even sees their mechanics. " I've also compared PoE1 to Vampire Survivors and Megabonk, so it's fun to hear someone else describe it this way. :) Последняя редакция: WhisperSlade#0532. Время: 4 дек. 2025 г., 23:39:43
