Main problem with the PoE2

It being called "Path of Exile". I know it's different game, and it being called Path of Exile is misleading.
Path of Exile 1 was built as successor to Diablo II by Chris. Path of Exile 2 is built as "better" Diablo IV. DII had no generator/spender, combos, nerfs to every good build, "anti-burst systems" and nerfs to pack size so your screen will have 3 monsters that you have to combo. That said. PoE2 is PoE2 and I doubt the direction will change (I guess GGG wants D4 fans). I ask for one thing. Please stop ruining PoE1. Unnerf Tier 17 maps, unnerf loot on maps. There is no reason to make both games scarce. People who love Ruthless have PoE1 Ruthless and PoE2. Let us enjoy PoE1. Last bumped7 дек. 2025 г., 16:14:42

Yeah, you would think with them being such "different" games that GGG would create separate forums on the PoE2 site?

Main problem PoE 2 has right now is the community of PoE 1 so called "veterans", who for some very strange reason wish this game to be a bland copy of PoE 1, which is btw up and running and they are not playing it.
Play your zooming 99999 action speed stupid farm simulator, it's there, go. Stop demanding instant gratification from another game, that for once, tries to deliver really engaging mechanics and combat. Some players actually like to use brain when playing, so that's why we enjoy PoE 2 :) |

Except so far it is not delivering even close to what is needed. It isn't likely to either. To slow without enough engaging game play such as varied mobs amd loot and other things to do and it becomes boring real quick, even for the non zoomers.
