Me and a buddy had the same crash.

I can't log in, same error, I can't change the settings and if I try to enter the game it's stuck on an endless loading screen. Total disappointment.

AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 8-Core Processor.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080. Getting the Deadlock Detected error when trying to leave Clearfall. (Basically I'm stuck now) Crashing to desktop. People have mentioned to use DX12 instead of Vulkan; already on DX12. Still having issue. Noticed CPU Usage is near 100%, compared to before the update - was never near 100% CPU at all. The update's caused CPU Usage to kill the game, which I assume might be the Deadlock Detected error? This needs to be fixed as a lot of people are unable to play the game atm, due to this Deadlock Error. |

delete folder fixed it for me.
