So let's ask this question: why does a paid (yes, this game is paid; everyone on it that did not join today for the freeloader weekend did pay for it. I know I did $30.00) game launch a new league and then, a few hours in, have to take it down for maintenance? Let's just shut down the freeloader weekend and that will fix the problem, as it's clear your servers cannot handle the freeloader weekend. So let's just fix that by removing the freeloaders. Problem solved. Let those who purchased the game enjoy the game.

I mean, that is the issue on why the servers are not handling it: it's due to the freeloader weekend. So just get rid of it. Everyone can't stand it anyways. So just kick it to the curb. Let the people purchase it, as we all had to. It's as simple as that.

Console gamers pay $80 for games that are bugged and require day 1 patches.

i dont give 2 flying shits about "freeloaders" and i certainly did not pay 30$ (60 for me actually) to play poe2, i paid 60 bucks to get nice mtx and EARLY ACCESS to the game, the game will be free once the beta is completed

that being said, having not even half the features in the game and releaseing "leagues" to sell the illusion of new content when in reality its just core stuff, thats what pisses me off. stop overloading the server with fake hype for stuff that belongs litteraly into the basegame, just stop hyping this fiesta atm and focus on releasing the base game, make it interessting for us sure, but dont overhype it

I actually had a fairly lag free, nice 5 hrs of play before they took server down. What makes you think they took it down for overpopulation reasons? I will just call the pinnochio now.

no it's not a paid game..... you bought $30 of dress up tokens and you got beta access..... and no, free loader weekend is a great way to make currency
