Lightning Rod bug

This surely isn't intended? I would really love GGG to respond to this, as it is a 50% less damage nerf to the skill if this is true.

they don't care because they want to nerf LA builds, i am not surprised if they did this specially, to force you play on something else after previous league
I would still love for them to at least address this issue, so that we know if it is intended or not. This is a build bricking "bug", and I just want to know if I need to reroll or not.

I'm still a noob when it comes to PoE mechanics but I'll assume that "arrows" are just a subclass of "projectiles".

Currently the "% surpassing chance to fire an additional arrow" does not work on Lightning Rod and Tornado Shot. I cannot say if the "fire an additional arrow" rune works since I don't have one yet.
What does seem to work is +additional projectiles (Deadeye ascendency node or stolen rare monster modifier).

The texts for the 3 skills say:

Lightning Arrow (projectile class) - "Fire a charged arrow at the target. [...]"
Lightning Rod (projectile class) - "Fire an arrow that drops from above, [...]"
Tornado Shot (projectile class) - "Fire a skyward shot that whips up a Tornado where it lands, [...]"


There can be an argument made that additional arrow stuff not working on Tornado Shot might be WAI as the skill doesn't specifically mention it to be an arrow so it might be considered a projectile but Lightning Rod specifically classes it as arrows so the arrow stuff should work here and it's a clear bug.

This needs to be fixed ASAP in a hotfix as it has a huge impact on LA/LR builds!
