Please make refunding passives cheaper

Please making it cheaper to refund passives (At least by half, and especially ascendancies) so we can try more things without going basically broke, its so painfull wanting to try new things but having the fear of going broke

are you in campaign or maps?

+1 on this during campaign. I’m always out of cash during campaign while I’m still figuring out how I want to build the character.
It pretty much forces you to do all the thinking way up front, or follow a build guide

I don't know why you're all respeccing so much during the campaign. It's really not that important if you're approximately going in the right direction on the tree and don't pick completely useless nodes. Gear is way more important at that stage.

Apart from that, it's also not that expensive. Unless you're lazy as fuck and leave 90% of the items on the ground instead of selling them or gamble away all your money, you should have enough gold even for a full respec.

beat me to it. a full respect at level 30 is like 8k gold or something like that. You can literally do 2-3 campaign maps and make that in 20-30 minutes.

I want to try things, sometimes you want to change an element you use, and on new ascendancies, you are going to make mistakes, i'm a hoarder as well and like to pick itens on the floor but even with that its just too much gold, and i hate the gambling npc (expensive and somehow never useful stuff)

I want to try new stuff, build my own ideas, and poe builder has its limits. I'm not asking for something that is going to change the game in a negative way for anyone, just that they make it easier to try some things or change playstyle

Its going to stimulate people to try more things

I get it, but how much respeccing do you do that you run out of money? I played three different builds last league and done my share of tree changes and trading especially in endgame and still piled up over 20 million gold...

This. This is the much bigger problem. I'm now in act 4 and found barely enough support gems to fill all my gem slots and do a little bit of experimenting.

The lack of support gem is indeed another problem. Sometimes i try a playstyle that doesnt really performed as i thought it would, and that add another cost to the respec, if the changes you do dont work you have to spend even more money to go back to where it was.

Being a lot or just a few points aside, i just want to be able to ake changes to my playstyle during the campaign (so i dont get to endgame with an underperforming build and suffer) (also since the cost increases a lot with lvl, making changes in the endgame can be even worse)

I dont like copying builds from the internet, and if i see that a playstyle is not working very well, i want to change it

Just tone down the prices a little bit so people can do more experimentation

You’re clearly not the demographic that this post is for, and making respec cheaper during the campaign doesn’t hurt you in any way, so why are you so aggressive?
