You need some give and take.
Its a powerful mod and you are admitting it here. Everyone knows how powerful it is. If you just want it as an implicit then I guess why even have it as a mod or implcit at all? Youre not gonna be running NOT boots. And then it just adds to the pile of "welp this unique doesnt have this mod at this level guess its trash" All boots will have it so ... My suggestion is boots to compensate to only have 1 or 2 prefixes and 3 suffixes instead of the normal 3 and 3 that other items normally have. I think that's a fair tradeoff. Sacrificing 1 or even 2 explicit prefixes for this i think is very healthy. Even if it's put on as an implicit. |

First of all, if GGG makes the MS modifier implicit, they sure as hell won't overdo it and second, making it an implicit doesn't mean every pair of boots get 35%. There would be item level dependent ranges just like with any other item that have an implicit. The only difference would be that there would be less trash boots in the game, which would be nice for a change. |

slippery slope is a thing. Look at the speed achieved in poe1. If they tried to reel it in next league a lot of people would complain.
Idk why you're calling it a fallacy. Humans push boundaries, it is nature. If you're given something you're always going to be wanting to get more. If they put ms implicit on boots you would have 20 threads in here in the first day saying "They need to add prefix movement speed back, why does GGG not like fun." I PROMISE you that would happen. |

" Considering the patch came out roughly 3 days ago i'd wager you are talking total, which in that case its quite a cute amount of playtime. But to not wager off from my point I think its healthy to sacrifice 1 or 2 prefix slots for MS to be implicit or inherent. It's way better than trashing every boot that doesnt have that stat. In all these years that i play this is the first stat i always look for on boots and then everything else (except if its a unique which also always guarantees it btw). All n all it would save everyone a whole lot of headache, especially considering the anemic drops. |
