It can't be that Poe2 is getting easier and easier.

0.4 is far too easy. It's being simplified too much because a bunch of players who probably don't even have 5 hours of playing time are whining in the forum.

If we could see who actually finds the game ‘too difficult’, we could better sort out which feedback is actually appropriate.

I love how this is syntaxed by the 1 achievement PoE tourist. I know you want to gatekeep but you at least need the cred to do that [Removed by Support]

Yes it is gate keeping. Because you two in particular would use it to dismiss people's feedback by going to there account and shit all over their build, their skill tree, whatever you find.
This forum is for feedback and the feedback of a newbie is just as valid as that of a veteran. You can evaluate that feedback on it's merit if you want. If it's such bad feedback that should be easy, right?

finish the whole game multiple times.
we need to see the poe2 progress in forum. character+build+playtime+skilltree.

No I wouldn't shit all over someones build. Go look at my post history. Anytime someone has a valid critique and is just not screaming into the void I always respect them.

POE 1 & 2 are incredibly deep when it comes to building and it is why it has such a passionate player base. I don't know how many characters I've bricked or how much gold I used to respec. its just the nature of the game. Almost always and I mean 95% of the time its the build/gear and not the game. GGG knows this and everyone else who has some times knows this.

If you don't believe me. Post your build and we can help figure some stuff out. I've had builds where I couldn't clear t1 maps and i changed 2 support gems and it clicked. The game is 60% your build, 30% gear, and 10% mechanical skill.

Okay, I believe you. You do seem like a nice guy from your post history. Still you can just evaluate what someone posts based on their merit. You must see how this opens up the forum for toxicity. Leave the numbers and details in the background to GGG. If you are truly intent to help some noobs out you can always PM them and ask for these things

Yes you are correct. But I shouldn't have to spend 200k on T5 maps when I want to tweak my build when I discover ways to make it better.

I have multiple times before and I can agree with you that it can open the forum to toxicity but have you seen this forum or any forum? Most people who have a positive experience don't visit reddit/forum. Its called negative user bias. People who have a negative experience tend to leave comments while others don't. Its just the nature of humanity.

You have a problem in modern gaming as well. People think that when you die or brick your character that its not their fault. Most people don't have the mental capacity or self-reflection to realize that its more than likely their fault. Its easier to blame GGG, Jonathan, and everything else for your (not yours specifically but you get the drift) failure. This spills out not only in gaming but in every persons life.

the list can go on and on and on with how people typically blame everyone and anything else than have a moment of self-reflection.

ARPGS are historically been hard. POE specifically is known for its massive learning curve and how in-depth the characters can become.

GGG wants to capture a different audience and have said it like 200 times. They understand that a small portion (mostly on this forum and reddit) are going to complain but here is the shocker...those very same people will still complain or find something to complain no matter what.
