Massive lag in game, been like that for 4 days now.

Whats going?
Last night i started lagging and 12 hours later the lag is still here.

Takes 5-6 seconds to even click on a waypoint.
I cant even click on an item to pick it up.

My rooter looks fine, same does my speedtest.

Is anyone else having this issues?

My latency keeps jumping from 300 to 2000.

Used to be a steady 50-100


Any tips?

In any case. Open up a command prompt on your computer, and type: ping www.google.com -t (or any website you want to ping)

Let that run for a little bit, see if you have any Time Outs or jumps in latency over a long period of time.

I noticed some huge delay last night when i tried to join a group. When i press "join" nothing happened for about 3-4 seconds and then i joined. Also when i click on a group it really took it time to show me the people in the actual group. I checked my latency with "F1" and everything was fine although there was still delay. I just took a break, and at this point everything seems fine.

I've been noticing rather jumpy connections to the server but it could just be me. I recently obtained new internet and am running Windows 8.1 Preview so I'm sure it's on my side.

Ahh Windows 8...Microsoft's not so subtle FFFFUUUU to the desktop PC and PC gaming. When the average non-gamer computer user can do everything they need on a tablet, companies will sell many less desktops, stop making them, and graphics card companies will lose their market and we'll all have to play PoE on XBOX720 :/

Theres a forum post by a dev somewhere (probably support forum) that lists the hostnames of the gateways.

That was my fault, sorry.

I don't know what's going on, desync, rubberbanding, time traveling, whatever

It's worse than ever before, enemies not moving, my attacks doing nothing, my health getting drained in fractions of seconds, ALL THE TIME!!!

the game as really become unplayable at the moment, GGG needs to come up with a hotfix, it's really bad
