Comes to show how royally effed our society is.

The fact that anyone believes half of the tripe you find on the Internet, gives any credibility to a lot of the stuff you read in any forum, including this one unfortunately, or our general willingness to believe the obvious sensationalism out there shows how screwed up our societies have become I think.

Bestiality is always rape because there is no way for the animal to consent, so by definition it is rape because one entity is forcing their sexual desires upon another entity. I have no idea what zoophile people are, but if their intent is to somehow show that human/animal copulation isn't anything but abuse, they are mistaken.

Torturing animals isn't legal, the definition of 'torture' is up for debate. Many would say that the conditions of animals in factory farms equate to 'torture' but it isn't legally defined as torture and as such isn't an offense - except in extreme circumstances. For example, branding a cow is definitely torture it seems to me but it is perfectly legal whereas taking a bat and beating a cow isn't legal and is classified as animal abuse or torture. Also, I'd classify bestiality as a form of torture.
