Guardian if you prefer a more tank build that has a easier time with harder map mods and bosses.

Trickster if you want slightly more map clearing speed and damage.

Occultist relies on dual or triple curses which slows you down quite a bit, not to mention if you run into curse immune enemies, she also has less regeneration available so she has to avoid certain map mods that a guardian could do.

So I am currently wondering if anyone have any tips on what gear I should upgrade first. I am sitting at 7k ES right now and I would like to break the 10k barrier. I know shavs is a major upgrade but I am not able to afford that right now.

I have been trying to delerium craft better gloves now for awhile, but luck aint having it.

All my gems are basically 19 now. I am thinking boots then, helm, gloves? or maybe a shield with the 20% reduction to dmg over time, but my leo aint 3 yet (I like to be self sufficient since I always play alone and dont really like to hand over my gear)

Any tips on how I could proceed would be greatly appreciated.

I have no idea about the HC economy, so IDK about the cheapest ways to upgrade your char - Shav's would definitely be the cheapest upgrade in LSC.
Also don't waste your currency on spamming Delirium Essences (unless they are super cheap in HC for some reason)- better to upgrade anything that's not as luck dependend as your Gloves.

Current at 12.6k es, over 30ex worth of gear. Wondering where I should go from here. The most obvious upgrade is maelstrom rings but is there anything else?

Vinktars, rare shield, Level 4 empower + Hubris.

I just respecc'd my 86 Inquisitor over to LL Guardian after picking up a Shavs, current gear below:



I have around 8.7k ES, 9.7 with Ephemeral Edge over the Doryani's. I'm wondering what I should focus on upgrading to get my ES up. I copied the tree from Yalni's current Legacy guardian rather than the build in the main post, am running Purity of Fire in a +3 ring, Clarity, Purity of Ice, Vitality, Discipline, and Enfeeble on Blashphemy.

69 now, jsut got the build up and running.


Is it normal that I don't seem to have any natural ( and fast) ES recharge? Only seems to be what I get from shavs ring, and life regen ( made to ES from Zealots Oath).

It's kinda cringe.

Wait nvm, I get it. there's no pause in the damage you take, so...no ES recharge.

Ok cool. just need more levels for more ES! let the farming begin.

Also, I'm trying to udnerstand

( for the record the shit cold dmg roll is just for ele equilibrium), and the strength lets me level vitality all the way. Resists...well, you know. Aint it purty?

Thanks for the reply! About 30c away from Presence, I'll grab that and then flip my helm/gloves around.

For the skilltree you are following on the Legacy Guardian character, what's your planned route for your next 10 levels or so? Down to Arsonist and Barbarism in Templar/Marauder?


Edit: Also, I've been playing around with the Wise Oak for the penetration, it turns out you can't use it at the same time (without some serious math/setup) as Vinktars, is that penetration close to being better than Vink? Trying them out separately, they feel close.

I could use some advices for my build. After i got my Shavronne's and Pressence of Chayula i don't see to much improvement to my Guardian. What should i change next ?

Currently still using RoTP in detriment of my shield with reduced damage over time. It feels like i can sustain myself better in fights. What are the limitations of this build ? Can i go endgame with this char ?

I'm at 10.4k, ad loving it. Once I dinged 79 I was able to equip my Crystal belt and use Grace.

Now I got Grace, purity of ice, purity of fire,vitality, disc, Blasphemy+ Enfeeble all up ( just barely!). What a hoot to to this much damage and have so much evasion.

Please let me know what I can improve on? I believe any upgrades will be rather expensive and I should just focus on leveling up to get more ES.

Unfortunately it appears I need to blow a passive point on a 30 dex node in order to level grace.
I could get a crystal belt with intel instead of strength but the resists would have to be similar and it would mean lower level vitality.
