I meant LL RF is a tier 1/tier 2 build (meaning LL RF is one of the best builds for mapping), not tier 1/ tier 2 maps.

Shaped Strand is T11, Gorge is T13, lol.

RF is tier 2 at best when it comes to speed-farming. Even if you have 30%MS boots, belt enchant, movement speed enchant and devotos with Q20 FA and instakilling everything that comes near your RF's AoE. It'd still be nowhere near as fast as T1 builds designed for speed farming (Flicker, Frost Blades, Pathfinder EA, CoC Discharger, even Pathfinder BV).

LL RF's strength is not speed farming, majority of builds has their perks and downsides. LL RF has it's huge ES pool with reliable regen, decent dps and simplicity of play.

I'd trade (slightly) slower clear speed for oodles of suvivability any day. And I do mean slightly. It is fast and very safe.

I've played melee with 7 endurances charges that go squish to the stuff I rofflestomp. ( melee is 10 x slower too but I digress) I've made a couple hundred chaos in a couple hours and maintained my strands supply. It's amazing.

Sure, like I said, most builds have their own strength and downsides. I was just commenting on the T1 part of the comments, nothing more.

I'd stick to my opinion however. And no offense, you might want to try out some of the top speed clearer builds before you say that RF is 'fast', because it seems to me like you've never played one before; again, I don't mean to be rude when I say that. When it comes to just specifically for rushing through mid-tier maps. Which is what I normally do to farm for currencies, doing 40-70 mesa/strands per day. RF is not that great, even when it comes to survivability. When you roll 40 maps at a time, chiseling it and alching them, hitting minmax, vuln, eleweakness, half/no regen mods are an annoyance and can sometimes be dangerous depending on the leaguestones you're using. It doesn't matter how well geared you are with RF, if you hit any of the mods, and open up esh breach and it spawns something like haast, you'll die if you get shocked+frozen combo, even with 20k ES, and even in low tier reds like Strand. Heck I can even see a 20k ES RF dying to an essence boss with an unlucky combination of mods.

For sure you can check the mods when you're rolling them, but that's my point. Some other builds doesn't have to do that, at most all they need to check is reflect and noregen, and when it comes to running T10-13, survivability will never be an issue on T1 builds. A Frost Blades, EA, Flicker, even MM ST would clear things so fast that not even breach lords or beyond bosses would have time to be 'dangerous'.


RF's strength doesn't shine on these circumstances. RF is an all-rounder build, and it does amazingly at that, it's inherently slow, but it's also among the tankiest build out there that's not a full block build. Uber Lab, Atziri and guardians are a walk in the park for RF, when some T1s might struggle.

also, if u got currency - get presence of chayluya,
if u dont have currency i'd just sell 6L shavs, link myself 4/5link shavs and buy presence with leftover, overall ull profit cause u dont really need 6L for rf sustain.
u might wanna get helmet with increased stone golem effect, once u use stone golem ofc :P.

also, u can follow yalanis steps on "i cant sustain RF", im lvl 95 and i dont have dmg nodes as u do, u should maybe respec some of ur nodes to take more ES,

suggestions - respec explosive impact(4SP) and coordination (4SP) u lose 20INT, 45fire damage, 8AoE, 47DOT, 10dex, 12attack speed,

take sanctity(7SP), i can see one more major change u can do, but it wouldnt help u to sustain RF, maybe an extra purity, and little boost ur to auras, think about it,

respec holy fire(3SP), 6ES near naturel calm(1SP), area of effect near blast radius(1SP), respec 2curse nodes and take the path that cost u 1node(1SP), and u got 1SP xtra from earlier respec, total of 7SP, take all void barrier wheel(55evasion, 30es, 8all res).

also, i can see theorticaly how u can take the auras node near(will cost u 6SP, 3comes from ES wheel, 3other from quick recovery), im just not certain it will help u to sustain RF.

also i advice u to check, maybe taking the auras node(charisma), increase ur max fire by 1, u can use wiki poe on purity on fire, and check how much increase aura require to get another 1max resist, although im pretty sure that if ure trickster u already got it.
edit: and if u got the idea of taking 60% inc aura to get +8max fire purity, DONT, we cant as tricksters :( (feelsbadman).

Hey, I wanted to ask a question.

So I know this isn't a cheap build, and I only have two exalts. But I feel I have most of the real expensive stuff for the build from my LL wander. I have a 6link Shavs, presence of chuyula, vinktars, and an energy within jewel, along with a decent crystal belt with resists(has some mods I wont want with this build but has 125 ES on it so it'll do fine for now). I also have a level 2 and level 3 Enlighten and a level 2 empower.

Basically will this plus the two ex be enough to get a functioning version of this build going or would I be better off farming a bit more on my wander?
