Chris did you played Diablo 2 and how much you play POE?

GGG have played diablo 2 and he should know what things need tn be changed in Poe but they spend time din microtransactions and nerfs.
Even if i dont play anymore i still give them 10 dolars every month.
I know i critik them much but i hope they do somrhing soon wirh the drops rate,crafting and thr trade simulator.
The problem youcant do many things lke in D2.

Poe:maps if you can,crafting if you are rich ,pvp if you find somone,grinding bosses and there you get bored fast.

D2
Farm runes,farm gems farm rares farm sets,gamboing at vendors,crafting whas awsome,pvp whas fun,farm charms and many many other things to do and never got bored.
Even having a fuking mercenary whas fun.
D2 had simple areas.poe have areea with big stone and walls everywere.
Compare all act with d2 and see the diference.

i have to agree with OP tough. There are many things left out in Path of Exile, it could be a much better game, and i mean it honestly. Currently populations are at like 70k players? Hell PoE has potentional to get 10 times more player anmount they just need to realize they are not patching the right stuff

well some ppl play since dialo 1 and they enjoyied d2 without 1.09 and lod.

Diablo 1 is my all-time favourite game and I played it constantly for about 5 years after it was released, and still played regularly until I discovered PoE.

I tried to get into D2 when it came out, and while I liked a lot of the new additions, it completely lacked the atmosphere of the original game and I soon stopped playing and went back to D1. I tried again when LoD was released but just still couldn't enjoy it. :(

I do still have my original D2 and LoD CDs around somewhere though (and original D1 cd).

To me, PoE is a better spiritual successor to D1 than D2 was. I love the dark, grittiness of it.
