Pets should auto loot currency items and Maps.

Let's put the pay to win aside. That doesn't matter. And here is why;

Chris and GGG want that rush to hit you when something drops. Hey look an Exalt, it's only on short allocation! Good thing I have my pet out!

How do you balance which pet grabs the exalt in free-for-all looting?

This is pay 2 save time again, same as stash tabs. I dont see any difference then with selling regret orbs (u can create 5000 mules and clear fetid OR you can pay2save time), extended stash (you can tp and sell items OR you can pay2save time), etc...

I would like to see the pets fetching the item you CLICKED on. So it would be the same as now (you have to click) but the pet fetches it, instead of you picking it up.

So no PTW, but your pet does something, apart from simply following you.

Open to debate might be if the pet should be able to fetch stuff further away (outside the regular pick-up-distance) (but still requiring a conscious click). But perhaps this could be combined by feeding the pet some orbs, to incite it to move a bit more :-)

An easy to understand example of why auto-loot pets would be horrible for party play:

Player A and B are on a free for all / short allocation map.
Player A has no pet while player B does have one.
While fighting a rare monster / exile an exalted orb drops.
Both Player A and B are engaged in the fight and are not able to pick up the exalted orb.
Player B's pet rushes to the orb and loots it.

lets change to pet's loot only available on solo only and problem solved.
