- How long have you been playing Path of Exile?
Played in closed beta for a bit and just came back to the game in the middle of March.
- What aspect of the game is keeping you "Hooked"?
The fact the game is hard, and there are so many builds and combinations available. I really dont mind dying because I can roll a build I was looking forward to.
- Have you been in a Path of Exile guild before? If yes, how long were you a member and why did you leave?
No I haven't.
- What league do you intend to play in?
Invasion.
- How many hours a week do you spend playing Path of Exile?
A lot lol. I would have to say 20 hours a week is low end, usually more then that.
- Do you have a working microphone?
Yes.
- How do you feel about using voice communication?
It is a great way to communicate and have no issues with it.
- If you don't mind using voice communication, how do you feel about using it for daily social activities and not just for occasional group play?
I don't mind at all, it keeps people closer together and is overall easier to organize events in larger guilds.
- BURN is a social community. What is the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the term "Social Community"?
Guild mates who work together and talk to each other. People who are actively involved within the guild.
- Why do you want to join BURN?
You guys looked professional and active in end game content. Something I find is harder to find especially in invasion.
- At what hours do you usually play? Please include your timezone.
I usually work evenings so mornings around 9am to 12pm PST then from 11pm to 2-3am PST.

Three days today, cleared normal difficulty once.
- What aspect of the game is keeping you "Hooked"?
The complexity, really. I'm mostly an MMO player, I played WoW until they dumbed the game down to stupidity, then switched to everquest which I still play occasionally. I mostly prefer action based, reflex and high risk/reward styled games like Dark Souls and the like. The thing that I find so interesting about PoE is how diverse the passive system is, how unique it's build and "class" style is. Reminds me a bit of the older elder scrolls games where your starting class pretty much just depicted which of your stats started higher.
- Have you been in a Path of Exile guild before? If yes, how long were you a member and why did you leave?
Never been in one, no.
- What league do you intend to play in?
Ambush for now, I want to try hardcore/invasion once I learn the game more.
- How many hours a week do you spend playing Path of Exile?
Haven't even been playing the game a week yet, but I'm pretty active and can generally be contacted on steam to come play if someone needs a partner.
- Do you have a working microphone?
Yes.
- How do you feel about using voice communication?
It's vital for co-operation.

I don't have much issue, but I am rather hard of hearing, I was in the infantry for 6 years.

Looks friendly, looks like they're willing to help a new player get a handhold on the game and the like.

My playtime hours are sporadic, I'm medically retired so I don't have a job or anything, I just work on a ranch. That means I could be available or unavailable at really any time of the day. I live on the west coast of the US though.

Was a friends guild and after a while no one was on so i left

I play on ambush but i might try invasion at some point.

I have been playing since the beginning of 2014.

- What aspect of the game is keeping you "Hooked"?

I am currently still exploring all the different types of builds to determine my favorite playstyle. I have leveled quite a few characters to the 60's, 70's, and a few 80's to get a feel for it. However the newness of constant rerolling is losing its luster so I'm searching for a group to joint to push to upper 80s and 90s.

No, I have been a solo player only. I have joined public groups but never organized play.

- What league do you intend to play in?

I play entirely in Ambush, aside from a character I made for the 2 week race. My characters in standard are left over from the last 4 month league.

Goodness, I'd rather not admit. 30 +

I do.

No issue. Im usually more quiet than I am chatty but I have been in cooperative guilds before in other games (longtime Warcraft player and accomplished raider).

I don't foresee any issue. I'm a smart, personable guy and if other players in the guild are share similar traits we should get along fine.

I envision a coalition of players spending time together without adding the stressors of "full time raid" or "business only" that many harder core players point to.

- Why do you want to join BURN?

Admitted I know little about the POE guild scene, who is hot, who is popular etc. I have submitted this application for several reasons:

1 - simply you take the time every day to be on the top of the recruitment page. If you invest that much time into recruitment it says alot for guild organization and leadership. Its not spam, its effort.

2 - You advertise maturity. I'm 30 y/o and have neither time nor patience for immature brats doing immature things. I game because I enjoy it. If I wanted to babysit I'd do that instead.

3 - I don't need the pressure of high-end competitive play, and you do not seem to promote that pressure. I raided competitively for many years on WoW and have an accomplished resume there. Those were my college years. Now I work full time and prefer to unwind more than I do to have a second job online.

Weeknights from usually 7-midnight US EST. Weekends often during the day, nights are hit-or-miss.

I will just add in supplement that I likely won't be joining much forum talk or truly social activities. My day job usually has me burnt out by 8pm and I log on POE to kill shit and rake loot. I don't mean to say that I am not a participator but I am not searching for a new set of responsibilities to add to my professional life. I just want a gang to log on and chat with and run some coop maps, etc.

You can make weird builds which no other game can allow as well as dark and gloom world of the game.

Yes, I've been in a few guilds but I left them because they were quite "dead".
