I also tried somethign similar. I took out hatred and replaced with Herald ice/ash. It allowed me to go back to lvl 24 AA with 21 clarity, and i still have almost 200 mana avail. Never shoot blanks now, even with GMP. The DPS is about 8% less, but the splash is nice. Also, when you 1 shot groups and sometimes 1-2 mobs dont die, the ignite will kill them. So it really does make clear times faster!!!

EDIT: g2 love Vorici. only way i could try this gem combo and keep cwdt was to RRR my wand. normally this would take 2000 chromes, but good ol' OP Vorici. 50 chromes later

*** I removed haste and put hatred in, while running both heralds. I now have MORE dps than i have ever had before. about 4% MORE; along with more available mana, incinerate damage and splash damage.. So, if your okay with loosing the MS from haste, you will gain a lot more DPS by removing haste instead of hatred. iow, running both heralds with hatred, while removing haste will gain you mana, AoE damage and more DPS than any other gem setup presented so far. ***
