I came to the same conclusion, I'd even say that fyndel's BM wander is total shit build unplayable solo and somewhat playable in parties if you have very good gear and don't mind occasionally getting oneshot.

No defences combined with the way PS works compared to ST (ST projectiles hit targets even when you are frozen/desynced/lagged, PS does not) means that every little freeze (he even runs without Auxium, devourers with added cold and random damage mod anyone?) or desync can be instant death. You need to use Rumi's flask in the right moment and hope that block RNG won't screw you.
I even died when I desynced a little, ran out of hp and didn't press hp flask in the right quarter of second so I wasn't leeching.
Fyndel's build is nice dps showcase but this build is much better if you want to level up.

I'm sorry that you fundamentally misunderstand the concept of the build, but that's no reason to attribute what amount to flaws in your playstyle to structural weaknesses in the build.
In fact, Fyndel's build utilises some of the most powerful defensive mechanics in the game - they just happen to be active rather than passive. Off the top of my head:

1. Leech with 95% crit and Acuity:

It's hard to dispute that Leech is the most objectively powerful defense in the game. Nothing else provides you with as much raw power to sustain and survive; it is (somewhat) balanced by weakness to being one shot and mechanics that stop you leeching. Despite popular belief, things that actually one shot you with >7K ES are rare and pretty much exclusively reserved for Uber Atziri and certain lethal combinations of map mods. More often than not a very fast death results not from a one shot but from mechanics that stop you leeching - for example, being frozen, Evanglist's bubbles, stuns etc. reflect, to a lesser extent. My personal Achille's heel is Evanglist + Added cold damage map, mostly because the client side location of the Evanglist bubble gets often gets slightly desynched, so it looks like you are inside it when the server says you are not. This is, in my opinion, the greatest weakness of the build but completely avoidable by fast reflexes and knowledge of what is going to stop you faceroll leeching.

2. Freeze with very high damage:

You can reliably freeze any mob (including bosses) in the game that is not immune. An incredibly powerful defense that needs no explanation - a frozen mob is unable to damage you in any way.

3. Surgeon's flasks and 95% crit:

Flasks provide insane boosts to defenses - usually balanced by the charge mechanic. With this build, they are available to you 24/7.


I didn't come to this thread to debate whether Fyndel's or Kaiserin's build is better, they are both fine to me, however I have to say I wasn't overawed but you presenting your negative opinion as objective fact, and justifying it with a statistically unimpressive empirical example of 1. :)

together wiht that build u could use a belt with all res, dropping purity of elements and use Vitality instead if needed. Against freeze u should make a Surgeons flask of Heat

my witch is level 90 im saying this is what i would think the best witch build would be this is pure speculation i would love if someone would try it but i dont have the currency to do annything other than my current build

my build is based of fyndels and kasierns i dont think the 3 aura nodes and unwavering stance are
necessary if u run lioneyes for stun so we save 5 nodes to take elder power nodes and more crit multi

well auxium has like 80 es on it + wed + counter to freeze so why not use it we dont need a tri res belt and we dont need vitality it only gives u about 60 life regen per second which is a big 2/3 of a PS

i know it dosent give the 30% multiplier to physical damage annymore the reason i use pa is we use the hybrid wand for 197 spell damage with shavs sheild wand amulet that said PA should still work to multiply our Spell damage to 256 which is still a 65% increased damage for 2 nodes

alright i took 1 extra node cuz i wasent sure if i wanted the lust for carnage so if u take the int route up and over instead of strength down towards the LFC cluster its 1 less per the int route

also for defense i have 5.1k es with 0 mirrored gear

I feel sorry for you "running" with Lioneye's Paws as wander.

PA is useless for attack based builds, it doesn't work like you think.

I use 20/23 AA for the bonus 1% MS atm but it can be easily swapped into a 21/20 for lvl26 over lvl25 AA.
