I have to say it was a little bit misleading showing that Unique ring with the modified values from the vaal orb in teaser, especially when it seems the chance is higher it will actually downgrade the item to rare. After reading this, I think I'll just use one on a shit white drop just to complete the challenges criteria for orb usage & hoard the rest for trade. Losing sockets & links just isn't worth the risk.
