I'm personally not going to waste my time with these. I just feel bad for the people who were duped by GGG with their intentionally vague communication. The trolling should be kept to fishing jokes, not permanent game mechanics that result in lost items, unless it's all fully disclosed beforehand.

Well yes, except it seems like the risk exceeds the reward by a huge margin. If these are only worth using on gems and maybe rings/amulets, then it's either boring or unbalanced

Thats just awful. A lot of people are going to quit over this, dumb mistake and idea by GGG. Shame.

No, the person using it on an end game item is the one making a mistake.

GGG said it's best to not use it on end game items, but instead to use them on mediocre items in the hope of turning it into something good. That way if something bad happens, you are not losing anything valuable.

I mean really, if you don't know what the orb will do, why are you using it on one of the most expensive items in the game on patch day, without looking at the forums to see what results people are posting?

It's a monumentally stupid decision and only the player is to blame.

You guys are completely nuts if you use new currency orb with pretty unknown possibilities on your expensive gear first. Sorry, but you took the risk way too soon. Ragequitting because of result of your own risky decision? Yeah... whatever.

I still think you are trolling anyway, noone in his right mind would risk that much and if he does, he should be able to bear outcome of his own decision.

I do feel your pain, but in the end, it will make you stronger. I hope ;)

Just wanted to say I wasn't laughing at the QQ but at how hysterically awful the game design philosophy required to even create something like this is. I can afford to have that reaction because I quit playing weeks ago, don't give a shit what happens at this point. I wanted to congratulate the OP for accomplishing with this thread what GGG couldn't do with patch notes.
