Normal trash mobs: Can't outdamage my regen.
Normal Dominus: Health barely moved. Normal Ch'aska the Rain Maker. Nearly instagibs me. I wonder, does she do 10x as much damage as dominus? More? I managed to barely beat her without dying on my Marauder when I first did normal archives, but she's is ridiculously powerful even in comparison to other Vaal bosses I've fought. My Barrage Duelist actually died to her. 1000+ HP, higher armor than my marauder, 3 endurance charges, Granite Flask of Iron Skin, Vaal Molten Shell, Unwavering Stance, Blood Magic, 2.5 APS barrage with tons of LGoH... Yeah, I went all in on her, and she still won. This is, of course, without any map mods that would have increased her damage. I can't imagine how overpowered she would be with extra damage map mods or in Cruel or Merciless. So I just skip her from now on. It's not like I need my 20th Vaal Detonate Dead anyway. After coming across Thornrunner, a boss apparently designed to only be killable by like 2 builds, I may just avoid the side areas entirely (or rather, kill everything in the side area, but leave the boss). " Dunno I killed her twice on EK witch once in normal a3 and once in cruel a3. Died 1-2 times the first time but that was because its a new league nd I had crap gear on. But this cud be bceause I used hit and run with EK and temp-chained her. Its hard to facetank her though, gotta avoid her RoA attack. |

" Congrats. You placed a totem and ran around until she died. I don't know how you managed. Some people are suffering from the strange notion that it's boring to play with the FOTM skill and are doing crazy stuff like playing a Marauder who actually uses Marauder skills and so on. About the boss itself, it's definitely killable, but it hits so hard that I don't think it's worth the risk in Invasion. You have to be realistic about these things. " I met her in Normal with a stupidly fat Marauder who facetanked Dominus without flasking (save for de-bleed) shortly afterwards. Her damage seemed manageable with Molten Shell on, but then the Rain of (Tears) Arrows hit, my Molten Shell exploded immediately, she hit me once more and I almost RIPped. After that encounter, I just stopped entereing corrupted areas. You have to be realistic about these things.
