Why is Trading so Hated?

In my experience, people tend to be more willing to barter with mid-range items or super rare uniques and items for niche builds. For mid-range, I'm thinking items costing maybe 10c up to a couple exalts. For items costing only a couple chaos, it simply isn't worth the time for most traders. Also, for the popular multiple exalt uniques like Alpha's Howl, Lightning Coil, or Rise of the Phoenix it's hard to barter because there's always someone else looking to buy or sell that item if you wait long enough.

Because it's boring as hell. Seriously.

I don't hate trading but i love self-found.
It is really fun to make a character/build work and not knowing what you'll find next.

When i found something(talking weapons here) that can be used in 70+ maps ,i usually have to roll a new char just to maximize the item i just found.

And i don't like the idea of sf-league, it's cool only if the droprates stays the same.

Players don't hate trading.

Players hate the way we are forced to trade. And forced to trade in a broken system.


I would love to trade in a market based system where I can list items in-game and have other players contact me in-game to make the sale.

No auction house. Just an active market.

Because they really like the rest of the game but want a more advanced trading system? Now, onto the real problem. Atziri should have 8 tits. I understand that she looks like a bull and cows have 4 teats but, there is a golden rule with pc game creation, a natural way of doing things, an order to the chaos if you will. You gave her four tits, then double it. 8 is also the square root of 69 (with a bunch of decimal places that are not important for this discussion).
