New Mob: Plumetting Ursa, the new Devourer
I captured one! It followed me around. I need more badges to control it but it was well worth it. So cuuuutttteeeee!

I'd like to see just a little fine tuning with PUs.
If I run in a straight line with +30% movement speed modifier I will be teleported back a few yards when I encounter PUs. Only if I happen to have used a quicksilver can I run underneath them before they hit. I don't like that. A lot of physically dodge situations in this game seem to assume you just drank a quicksilver though - so this might be intended. ;-) Also the noise they make doesn't really help. It doesn't even stand out if you aren't listening to music. And even if you catch it - what are you supposed to do to avoid getting hit? A visual hint might help you dodge and let you listen to music while playing. Online delenda est:

" Its all intended, every teleporting is totally done on purpose. Thats part of the difficulty and increases the fun factor ten fold. :) PS: Youre not supposed to kill them. Let them kill you, then they feast on your corpse. |

Tora mission in merc Catacombs... damn them Koala's, I ran so hard... I ran SO HARD *shivers in a corner*.
Hasted, chaos damage over time, d-syncing bastards. Managed to get away, but now I am scarred for life. Tora became a whole lot more scary! |

" Thought so. Fake difficulty FTW! :) Your PS clears things up - I got the game all wrong. :) Online delenda est:

I cant say i enjoy these new creatures. Besides the high crit rate, they arent anything to write home about. Just another group of monkey fodder. Nothing special.
Also they don't match the theme of the game all that well. Not a fan of a joke monster. Only one of two things happen when i encounter them: I desync back into them and get hit hard(then kill them easy) or.... I run past their dropping point and just turn around then blast them. It's a shame he didn't take the opportunity to make something more worthwhile. Doesn't effect my game much but hopefully not a sign of the future designs. |

" I don't know what you people are doing. Not even once did I desync back into a mob of Drop Bears. “Demons run when a good man goes to war"

When a fracturing dropbear dies all the fractures drop in almost the exact same spot at the same time. I was carrying a guildie whose main died recently through his tora daily and nearly died to this in a 52 zone with a 63 char with 7k evasion, acro, 32% block, 3k life. The rare had haste aura so he was right back in my face when my bear trap expired and I landed the last hit. Don't underestimate the koalas!
When I kill a man he stays dead.

" You can't be blamed for not knowing this, but the PU wasn't Charan's first monster choice. Or the second. He submitted several creative designs to GGG. Every one was apparently too ambitious, and was turned down for one reason or another. The PU is a "Fuck it, let's get this over with" solution. Dun blame the man for taking what he could get, which was a simple, silly concept, responsibility for whose execution (no pun intended) lies almost entirely with the Devs. ='[.]'= =^[.]^= basic (happy/amused) cheetahmoticon: Whiskers/eye/tear-streak/nose/tear-streak/eye/
