New Mob: Plumetting Ursa, the new Devourer

Tested the drop bears out in cruel difficulty, being careful since people are calling them Devourers 2.0.

After encountering a few, i can safely say that they are not even close to a devourer's level of deadliness. For one, they are a lot slower than devourers in terms of the element of surprise, and they definitely do not go back up when you move away.

Key points:
- They are melee, unlike devourers1 with their fireball of death skill.
- They chase after you instead of burrowing, making them easy to kite and avoid
- Harder for them to surround you when they drop due to the smaller size


So good job on the design, fun and not game breaking. fuck devourers

Anyway, this is actually why I think I should join Shags. Looking back at the past few weeks, the game, GGG's direction (as always, I exclude the customer support, who do a remarkable job) and some elements of the community, they all trigger negativity in me that I don't care for, and that I feel should have no room in a recreational activity. This situation should be the last straw, if I am honest with myself and ignore the addictive aspects.

Spending recreational time on something that irritates more than it provides entertainment is just not healthy behavior. When you're turning bitter and start bitching resentfully about everything, and get in a mindset where you expect only more shit, and focus chiefly on everything that is bad, it is time to walk away or take a break.

You should actually try the new enemy before getting all terrified. You're drawing random conclusions about something you could simply test yourself.

Of course it is your prerogative to quit if you feel so negatively about the game.

No. What turns me off is the direction of the game in general and how, instead of issues being addressed, more annoying shit is added. Above all, though, the way Charan and some others here respond to concerns is shameful, and makes me feel that this isn't a community I should be part of, because it rubs off on me. I, frankly, don't want to become an asshole, or be one, but both this game and the community encourage that.

It is entirely about myself, though. I get that in my job, too, but I think I should be more selective about the company I keep in areas where I can choose it.
