No. What turns me off is the direction of the game in general and how, instead of issues being addressed, more annoying shit is added. Above all, though, the way Charan and some others here respond to concerns is shameful, and makes me feel that this isn't a community I should be part of, because it rubs off on me. It is entirely about myself, though. I get that in my job, too, but I think I should be more selective about the company I keep in areas where I can choose it.

Recent additions and changes only reinforce that the developers treat this game as an "us vs them" situation. Look at the end of act 3. There is nothing to like about anything you find in the hedge maze, that zone and all of the monsters in it are not fun.

The changes to the act 1 bosses are another example. The fights are bad, there is no reason for Mervail to be summoning infinite statues other than statues are one of the enemies people like the least. I'm surprised they didn't fill the room with endlessly spawning devouerers, ohh wait we already have that boss.

On topic: I can't wait to face them, but I also don't have a problem with devourers. At least these aren't like avian wretches or evangelists THOSE are annoying.

The QQ (literal) in this thread is hilarious! Less so, the vitriol toward Charan for the monster he ended up creating. What he hasn't mentioned, yet, is that this was by far NOT his first choice. However, all his more creative and interesting ideas were nixed, for one reason or another, so this is what he settled for.

BUT they do make a warning noise, and there's time between that and their arrival, so if you keep moving, you should be okay.

Also, unlike devourers, when they kill you, because they WILL kill you, they roll around on the ground, silently laughing at your demise.

What ray said, the only one getting shafted in this thread is Charan, since he had to "settle" for this pet/monster design and not his initial choices.

About the pet being sold, i think GGG doesn't do this to promote the exclusivity of it all, but imo if the creator allows it i see no real issue with it?

It's already made and it will probably fetch GGG a few $$$(who am i kidding? it will bring them big $$$)

The other ruler also requested something different then was advertised in the package no? So i see no issue with this.

I actually think that, if Charan wants this pet to be universally available, mebbe he should have GGG link its sales to a charity. Charan did a Kiwi conservation charity push some time back. Why not let these loveable killers support that? =^[.]^=

GGG should do something like give Charan a code every time someone in a hardcore map dies to one.
