Blade Fall need to be destroyed?

I was reading another topic in the Feedback subforum. The topic is related to CoC, but for various reasons it was discussed BladeFall and how it should be destroyed to its roots...

Until a few hours ago I was using Dual totem BladeFall (5 links). Quite effective but no big deal. In some of my previous testings, I switched to Shockwave totems and with 4 links my damage was exactly the same as BladeFall 5 links. Some small changes and damage from shockwave totem was superior in almost half the damage from BladeFall...
I am not an expert and I've always said I'm a bad player. But I am having seen what I saw I can not help wondering, why some people want to destroy BladeFall?

People want stuff destroyed for ''balance'' Not a hard concept here.

Leave it alone and just re-introduce reflect.

Better kill BladeFall XD

BF hits hard. But maybe other spells need to be brought up to par? Ever since shotgun nerf most spells feel like shit. Especially things like Arctic breath where I could one shot many boss and atziri never made healing company.

1) armor formula
2) free slot where penetration normally goes (see 1) )

Which is "ok" if reflect was still in the game imo. But since they neutered that, it has free reign over the spell dominion.
