When will POE update its graphics engine?

Lets hope we don't have to wait for POE2 before we see some upgrades across the board...even if they add an act/year we're still talking 2022 before all 10 acts (I believe I have that right) are added.

WTF i dont have to and i have this config.

i play in 2715.

fps is ok, i get the same fps drop with 2715 * xxx and 800*600 when coc discharge is occuring, because it's not gpu related.
I will never be good but always I try to improve.

lol. not dating myself in the least here, just that when i was in tech college we got some "interesting" donations. which were equally interesting to toy around with at the time :3

i remember getting a Commodore 64 and a few old Apple II and Apple III PCs. interesting stuff. the C64 was like 2 colors. Green and Yellow.

...but i grew up with a NES. sooo, it was fun playing around with that kind of thing.

Now I'm dating myself - I run a 3 year old PC with 2 GB of video memory Win7 and I have no issues with how the game runs.

Yes moving to a commercial engine is time consuming and expensive, I understand it.

Then for the love of Templar's pants PLEASE GIVE US A GRAPHICS EFFECTS SLIDER IN OPTIONS..

GGG, your current implementation allows players to crash the game, and crash their groups games by stacking lots of MTX's and particle crazy skill chains.

Noo man, the C64 has 16 glorious colours in 320x200. It was a beast at the time, and is still enjoyed by lots of people, 34 years after its commercial release. I have several myself, and I play on them regularly. So many good games. :)
To all those people saying engines are expensive...Unreal engine 4 is Free and its a massive eye candy engine. Same deal with cry engine. So no reason for GGG to not start porting the game.... This game's graphics are already old tbh. Not to mention the poor performance it gets and not a lot of options in the menu to tinker with settings..

Actually multi-threaded engine and 64-bit support would do wonders...

Porting to an other engine (veen if it's free) takes a massive effort/money. We are stuck with this engine until PoE2 (if ever...).

They will do probably before 4.0.0, to accomodate the game for the android version.
