The Retch bug? Need help explaining, my tests dont mach wiki data

Ah you're right and that's enough to explain the difference in my numbers. Thank you for pointing that out. It's not an item I'd ever owned or used and just missed that (only looked for damage modifiers).

Okay... after testing more intelligently I'm very confident in saying pale of the crown king does not heal based on retch's damage, at least when you have VP. For this testing I used a lvl 19ish added cold and lvl 19ish added chaos and the life leech gem on a lvl 1 sword. The heal ranges with it on and off were both in the 13-18 range on my character after about 30ish attacks per. You'd expect to see some hits going into the 20s if pale king took effect.

What this means is that the reflect damage source is the belt and not you, which makes sense and is consistent with GGG design on other items.

Sorry for being late with this reply and thank you guys for testing! It was something I was thinking about quite a while now... finally one less stray thought in my mind... only leaves about... an infinite amount -.- damnit, I do too much unfocused thinking.
