One of the thing that GRINDS my gears is how entitled people are to loot drop in a game made by GRINDING Gear Games. Go do more fucking maps, and you will hit your RNG. Play meta build and make some currency before poking into whatever hipster shit that is 70% the time not going to work.
You know how easy it is to play this league right now? Grind Twilight strand for onichan then kill shaper. There, easy level 0 six link item scale to 370 pdps weapon with 9 base crit. You know why people jizzed their pants and sucked Charan's dick? Because they never had a chance to play the game with a legit six link until this league.
I said this before, the game is heading toward complete casuality already, but it has not crossed the line yet. However if power creeping keep being the direction of the game, its going to cross that line sooner or later. Abyss jewel and Shaper, Elder items are already fucking retarded.
Killing Shaper on 5link Spectre? NO problem. No Abyss jewel, no Elder or Shaper items needed. Just the right amount of Scorching Ray totems Tukohoma Vanguard needed. Next patch every endgame boss is going to be buffed by 20% life. Cycle continues.
What direction do you want GGG to take Path of Exile? How do you personally change the game for the better? I'm willing to bet it would drive away more players than attract them.

I never cared much for what Kripp had to say personally, but he's a fairly big streamer and he has learnt how to do a few power moves to keep himself floating on the surface of relevancy, but by bashing PoE (which has put out amazing content in such small amount of time) while not even playing it anymore to give points to money-grubbing , memebender 2014+ Blizzard games as "sacrifice" would make one think that it kiiinda makes him look like an incompetent douche that's forced to play Hearthstone of all games to make a living. He doesn't even like HS, he just has to play it to get views and money. The hollywood life lol, you can feel the bittersweetness of it. I do not envy kripp, nor should you. At least we get to game like we want to :)

PoE is a victim of a developement team more obsessed with adding news stuff, than fine tune the game. The game could been a good MP game if not for GGG making players feel like demigods with screen clear skill that can cause FPS drop....solo!
Making Powercreep so bad, you are literally god mode leveling the game, & a shallow end game because you kill trash so fast, no decision making, no strategy is need. Movement skill spam aoe attack, flask-> repeat. Crowd control? Meh. Prioritize which mobs to kill? Meh. Group or isolate mobs? Meh, nope needed when you one shot them?
If you want to implement powercreep, then you better have harder content to make it meaningful.

The problem with the second paragraph is that when the game was much more like this (tank meta), people did not like it as much as they did now because when PoE is slow, it feels clunky.
I think, if that is addressed properly, adding in more difficult content to the point where it encourages slower and thoughtful play will be much more welcome and people will be much more appreciative.
People will still always trend to the fastest possible though, because like every ARPG, the faster you go, the faster you can roll the next dice.

That’s where game design comes in. I know people here hate it when I mentioned the game that shall not be named.
How do you encourage people to take on harder contents instead of easier contents where players can clear faster, more efficiently?
A) you put bigger carrot at harder contents.
B) you encourage mini competition among guilds and friends by showing the highest level your friends and guild can do compare to you.
C) link improvement of char to the higher level you can do.
C need some explanation. Like PoE, The other game has gem that can be upgraded, however the level is link to the greatest rift level( higher tier) you can do. If you want level 50gem, make sure you can clear level 50.
