I've never used adblock, so I switched to the offical trade site right away. The only real difference is that it doesn't show which rolls are suffixes/prefixes, but you learn all those over time.

This button should be ingame -.

Noticed it 1000 times. Bookmarked it when the site went live.
Have only clicked it once, after I read the OP.
Still use it over poe.trade almost all the time.

Is a matter of habit, i use Poe.trade for several leagues already and i don't see any real reason to change.

I think there's a few affixes/mods which poe.trade has that the official one doesn't.

Official trade doesn't have the specific masters for the Master seeks Help prophecy - Oh hang on, it does in the actual prophecy name. Cool!


I know that official trade has the unique map mods, making it easier to exclude maps you don't want when searching for unique maps.

I've tried using it for a while. All i can say about official trade vs poe.trade is that the second is just wayyyy better.

First of all it loads faster. Second, background doesn't reduce visibility of the text, it improves it. Third, everything is more compat, poe.trade just has that invaluable spreadsheet distribution with listings, prices and info all at the perfect size. Official site is just too wide and text sometimes overrides itself for some reason (at least for me). There is also less things to expand. Most important filters are alredy shown in the main page.

As someone said official site is better if you want to search something very specific but for the moment it requires huge UI improvements to be worth using.

poe.trade is way better/cleaner

I use both.

The official trade will always be used first as I find it really simple to use nad I can hide things I am not interested in searching for,

That said when I am being super specific like needing a specific type of gear like say Spiked Gloves, or a Lion Pelt, I will use poe.trade as the official trade tab will not allow me to search by subclass of item, only the type, i.e. helmet, boots, etc...

Also Poe.trade will allow me to see which are suffixes and which are prefixes most of the time without having to have another site like poeaffix open, the official forum doesn't show this, so say I need a piar of spiked gloves with an open suffix for attack speed or a resist, it is much easier to search this on poe.trade than the official trade site.

Force of habit.

ggg put a bad light on it from the get go calling it a beta version.

Most people don't even visit the forums let alone the trade platform presented by that button.
