im staying in standard again im not interested in this league and im still having fun with my characters ive already invested a tonne of time and currency into. having to start fresh every 3 months just isnt hitting it off with me as much as it used to, and i dont know how many more times i care to have to drag myself through all the acts anymore and try to hunt down cheap gear when it takes like a month or two before i'm anything but dirt poor and can farm maps at more than just a snails pace. i just dont want to have to keep putting myself through that anymore if i dont care enough about the new league to want to start over, so i'd rather keep scrubbing it out in standard for now

i see no reason to just get rid of all my maps or try to sell them all just because ggg got bored one day and didnt like the positioning of one or two maps on the atlas. since delve ended ive got well over a thousand t10+ maps i want to run through and i know ill never be able to do that in just 2 weeks, i play enough trading simulator tycoon as it is and i dont want to deal with trying to sell thousands of maps, and i really dont care to take the hour or so to just vend them all because i'm good for quite a while on scrolls of wisdom.

i cant seem to find a better solution, so the best option i see is to buy another tab and not have to deal with this bullshit. but who knows? like i said, perhaps the change wont require a new map tab layout, so maybe this wont even be an issue and i'm just worked up over nothing

having to re-do my atlas will still be a slight bit of a nuisance but this time i just wont bother buying the super expensive maps solely for the sake of completion, because now they have a tendancy to want to fuck it all around every league

i guess ill just have to bite the bullet here and reward them for this crap. at least by the time synthesis league ends i should be all done with my old series of maps, so if they fuck the atlas around again i can just clear out whatevers left in there and have that ready to go. right now ive just got too many i want to run.

i dont like it but it is what it is. i dont see why the map tab shouldnt be able to hold all series of maps.

First of all I'm a huge fan of standard myself! That said you still should get rid of all your old maps. By getting rid of I mean converting them via the 3 old to 1 new of a higher tier recipe. After I converted a few hundred last time I only was left with about 30 old maps. I was able to run these last maps in 2 hours and got new mapdrops from them too. So why would I keep the old maps and buy another stashtab even on standard?

Time is the essence. Time and money. I purchased map stash tab, spent real money for that. And suddenly, I have to spent many hours of my time to "convert" few hundreds maps via 3 to 1 recipe, just to make usable thing, for which I paid. And again, and again, with every new league? Pure joke for me.

Short timed, moneygrabing tactic, which may bring counter-productive effects. For example, my map stash tab in "standard" contains 300 or 400 red maps, without single white and yellow and some "crappy" uniques map too. I will clean it eventually and for the future I will closely watch to not fill it too much. When it comes to temporary leagues, in current league i emptied all "white" maps and most of yellows. Before it ends, my map tab will be completely empty. I hope it will not be transferred to standard anyway.

Then I will continue to cleaning other tabs. Actually GGG helps me with that, I can vendor all “melee related” uniques and most of “melee related” rares, as I lost hope, melee will be usable ever again. In result I will have no need of any another tab. And I definitely wouldn’t by another map tab, no way.

What are you talking about? Many hours? I can convert 300-400 maps in less than 10 minutes?

ill do the 3 to 1 recipes on my massive hoard of t1-10 maps at least. ive piled up thousands of those since delve ended and i dont care to run them unless they have masters or shapers strongholds on them. but still i have a shit load of higher tier ones i want to plow through. trying to push my ms jugg to 100 almost at 98 now and all i care to do is map and delve. call me crazy or sadistic but i actually enjoy that.

but still its going to take me a fair bit of time to run through all these old maps, while all the new ones start piling up. im either gonna need to buy another map tab, or more stash space to dump the new ones in until i can clear everything out. theres no way i can run through all these before the new league starts

but at least i oughtta have a 2nd map tab ready for when they decide to fuck over my atlas again in the summer.

i was planning on spending the 80 bucks on the emperyian upgrade down the road anyways, cause i could always use a bit more stash tabs, plus most of the cosmetics look pretty nice too. maybe ill just buy another map tab with some of the points and hopefully never have to worry about any of this bullshit again.

but either way im sure getting the short end of the stick by sticking with standard. i just dont want to go through the hell of starting over again. im tired of being in such a rush to try to get a build together just to be able to farm currency efficiently enough to make something decent before the league ends, just to end up in the same place again by the time its all over. i'd rather just work on the builds i already have and enjoy playing and trying to flesh them out even more, so thats why im in standard. and i really dont mind it

but yeah ill probably just end up buying another tab. then im in no hurry to burn through the maps i want to run. then i can run my old maps to get a big stockpile of new ones, and then i can just put it to the side afterwards. by the time i need to empty it out for a new series i will have already done everything i want with the old series anyways

its all a bunch of bullshit anyways but theres nothing else i can really do about it. i spent alot of time hoarding up as many high level maps as i can just to make the grind to 100 a bit more bearable once i get the build im playing to 98. even though im already done with the build now and i consider it already complete, im really enjoying the ms jugg and my goal the other month was to push it to 100. im not ready to give up on my goal just yet and abandon my character for a new league. and id rather make the push to 100 on my own rather than to dump currency into pure breachstones either now that betrayal is going core. it just wouldnt feel legit to me.

so yeah thats pretty much where im at. ill just suck it up and buy a new tab. like i said i was already gonna buy some shit down the road anyways, but depending on what happens when the new league starts, ill probably end up buying on the next stash tab sale. no sweat off my balls, but im not too thrilled about it either.

hey now, melee is all i know! maybe with 3.7 they will give me some love.

mind you ms jugg is the most feasible and successful build ive played so far and i can run everything with it rather easilly. so if they nerf it i'd probably get so triggered i would quit the game

i had a sunder berserker going on for a while and after they neutered vaal pact, my beloved noob crutch, i rage quit for a year. if they gimp my molten strike jugg after all the time and currency ive dumped into it, ill probably be done with the game altogether. but i know itll end up happening eventually, and i'd probably end up dragging my ass back again eventually anyways cause im an addict to this game.

well good think i played already less since they fucked standart... i guess i drop the game for a bit... till they do something about standart

Oh, really? But that's in case, you have map stash tab to put your maps vendored using 3/1 recipe. If you don't have such tab, you have to clean one of your "normal" tabs to store "final" maps in there, if you don't want to convert all to T16. Then you have to put your maps from "temporary tab" to your character (max 64 slots) and put it back to cleaned map tab. And again and again. You can forget about 10 minutes in such case. And if you have few thousand maps, you are literally fucked. Like me, as I have few thousand of them in "leagues legacy" tabs too. I was too lazy to put them to one stash tab (besides, even empty "remove only" map tab doesn't dissapear from stash tabs anyway) and now I will have to spend few hours to actually do that. But, as I said, no big issue. I will gladly save some money.

Honest question: If you're never going to run those maps... why save them?

honest question... why are standard player in a huge disadvantage compared to league player... ONLY the standard player have to do something about the old maps or stash in general... So why we get punished?



Since you play league... do you empty your map tab every league? Because you picked more maps up than you ever run...
