You are being ignorant. It's quite intuitive to assume there will be future legacy items on this game, specially with so many new unique items being included because of all the Diamond players we have and also from the "design na unique for $1000" transaction. This change in Silverbranch will almost not affect the game, but what if a powerful item turns into a legacy version in the future?

Also why the complaints, not like a Silverbranch is going to change your end-game competitiveness. It's for levelling alts like Ravenclaw+Enchant was in D2... you could live without it but was a nice advantage if you had one.

First off you didn't understand the purpose of this thread. It's not about silverbranch. It's about keeping uniques in general after a patch.

Also you are a 1.10+ player. Till 1.09 there was no good enchant(It added around 200 damage). You did sewers, arcane and then bloodruns if you got rushed.

There are several other players who talk about silverbranch.

The thread is about Legacy items in general.


In CB there were many legacy items but there was a wipe for OB and there were several legacy migrations.

Now there won't be any wipes and it's in your own interest if there aren't any legacy items because only such legacy mods/items affect gameplay there will most likely be a Legacy League and those weren't populated at all besides default legacy.

Suggestion: Silverbranch now has a 99% chance to drop with +1 to bow skills and a 1% chance to drop with +2 to bow skills. This eliminates the "legacy only items", the +2 version is still obtainable but extremely rare.

i dont care about legacy items at all if it just doesnt get announced before the change.

On principal I disagree with legacy items in a league with no wipes. It will only get more messy the longer time goes on. Start as you mean to go on & let's keep this game clean & a level playing field, not a garbage dump of rehashed beta mistakes. Hopefully GGG do the right thing before the game loses it's beta status.

Edit: I have 2, for the folks who seem to think it's a jealousy thing.

Seeing as the main issue is imbalance for races, why not just disable them from dropping during the races?

That's why I called bullshit on the races excuse. Do silverbranches really drop often enough in races to be considered an issue? I doubt it.

I bet he answer is NO. Especially consdering how low drop rates POE have.
Honestly its beyond me why htey change this and why they do that in the worst possible way.

BIG NO for Legacy items. It will do only harm to the game and itemization over time.
