Higher drop rates of Chromatic Orbs/Orbs of Fusing needed?

Everyday I watch the trade channel, it seems like these two orbs are in great demand. Considering they aren't exactly very high level orbs, the likely scenario is the crafting sink is working too well. Players need more of these 2 orbs when it comes to gear perfection, and apparently supply is not keeping up with demand.

I don't have an in-depth knowledge of PoE's economy, but it seems to be unbalanced when it comes to these 2 types of orbs. They are rapidly bringing down the value of far rarer orbs like chaos, GCPs and the like. Last I saw, someone was desperately asking for chromatics with his GCPs at the rate of 1:50-55. --link removed-- is not keeping up with the changing rates.

What do you guys think? Should these 2 orbs drop more often? I personally find myself lacking these orbs as well, yet I always maintain a decent stash of alchs/chaos/GCPs and even the occasional divine/exalted, even with regular trading. Seems unbalanced to me.

No.

And this is why you shouldnt use that site. It's worthless. It's good to get a base idea for.newbies, but other than that, its worthless.

Well, you could choose to give a reason why not.

If going by the rarity of the orbs, and more common orbs are actually washed out of the economy faster than the rare ones, it's not normal to see a higher equivalent supply of alchs/chaos compared to chromatics/fusings. It's like seeing plenty of 100 dollar bills around, yet you can't find that dollar coin or the 5 dollar note. Doesn't take a financial/economics degree to realise that's not right.

Edit: Currency needs to be kept liquid. A 100 dollar note should be balanced by 20 five dollar bills, or 100 dollar coins. More or less at least, so it keeps exchange rates balanced. Otherwise, you're going to have to deal with a scenario where people are going to use several 100 dollar notes to exchange for a dollar coin, which obviously means the economy has gone haywire.

Check the ingame economy and you'll see why. Chromatics are about 50-60 per GCP, usually towards the 6. Fusings? Haven't changed in AGES. About 6 per GCP with variance of 1 per side due to greed, desperation, and the like. This isn't gold where x = 2y. This is trading where I want this, you want that, and supply and demand, as well as personal influence, affects the trade.

Well, I might be wrong here, if the rates have indeed stayed more or less constant. It's fine if the rates stay within the parameters stated, but I'm just concerned since I see alot more demand for the orbs stated above.
At times, demand fluctuates. Before I quit until a short while before OB, I and many others were buying GCP en masse. As such, there was essentially no supply left for anyone to buy and we basically just spammed for any that came up. When we were all crafting our gear? Fusings, alts, and augs were in low supply as well. This is all part of cycles and trends where someone or a group happens to raise either the supply or demand for an item. And believe me, both are plenty able to be controlled, and usually by the top players. A good example would be my utter control of the regal market. By rare name trading with my friends, we all made large amounts of regals and alchs, and I was the only one (Jerk was starting to play less at this point, he sold them too) selling regals and I kept the price from dropping by dictating the price. No one else really had them because the supply was mostly from the recipe, and our planning/trading/tabs made it possible to create a large supply.
Wait til OB. You will see all new ratios for awhile.

Also, people aren't buying the rarer orbs because many high lvl players who use them are currently.not.playing.

Alchs and chaos are plentiful for the same reason. Again, wait til OB and you will see some goofy ratios.
5Ls and 6Ls are pure luxury items. Nothing more. A well-defined build that people can use should be able to operate without requiring 5Ls/6Ls. Chromatics and fusings are fine where they are.

Thanks for the input, guys.
Also keep in mind with 9 days left until everything is wiped things become less valuable.

Someone might have a ton of wealth and just throws all their GCPs to overpay for things to get them quickly..and because they can. They just want to max their build asap.

If you had a million dollars and the end of the world was tomorrow you wouldn't exactly shop around all day for a good deal. ;)
