Imo the answer to your second suggestion is definitely not. It's 3x6%+15% damage which translates in 33% or 8.25% per point which is very low. General rule for ratios is above 12% per point good, 12% okay, less than 12% bad. This is the tree I aim to have in a couple of levels (86), if you pay attention there are no points under 12% and even the 12% always give something extra or are in the way to achieve something bigger.

I've leveled my Marauder some more and filled in the working skeleton of the build now. I'd appreciate any advice on where to go from here:



Note Blood Magic has been respec'd as I have enough damage and leech to survive with Blood Magic gems instead and am getting by without much in the way of single resist nodes. I'm running Hatred and Vitality as auras for the time being. What I'm considering right now are:

1) Going further up into the Templar area to Sovereignty and Holy Strength.
2) Going right through the duelist area to Master of the Arena and maybe to Leather and Steel if I can manage it.

Any opinions on which would be better? Or if anyone has a third option on what to do going forward it would be appreciated :)

Which chest armor is better?

What do you guys think about connecting support gem that gives you endurance charges when you stun enemies to ground slam? I don't know how stuns work. Although I use 2h mace I never seen my enemies stunned. It's is not like in other games where they stand still for the duration and you can clearly see it...

Stun is different compared to other games. In a few words it's mini stuns and they trigger when single hits take big chunks of HP either from yourself or the enemy. You can read more about it by just googling poe wiki stun. I don't think using that gem is a good idea it needs other items and passives to make it effective. cwdt+enduring cry is the answer to keeping endurance charges up. If you are not getting hit enough to proc then there is probably no need to have charges up anyway. Just be careful with the lvl requirement mechanics of cwdt gem.

The Bronze Plate is better due to having life. For this build life is the mitigation to damage, the biggest portion of our survival.
