PR0TIP! After you reach ~1000 dps you can safely swap "Life Gain on Hit" to "Life Leech".

PR0TIPIf you want estimate Life Gain on Hit versus Life Leech relation more precisely:
1. Take your dps you have multiplay it by % of damage leeched
2. Take your amount of life gained per hit and divide it by your attack speed and then multiplay it by 0.7 (for Ground Slam) or 1.5 (for Heavy Strike)
3. Compare those two values: higher means more life gained per second

DPS (ground slam): 877,8
Life Gain on Hit: 28
Attacks per Second: 2,31

Life Leech (5,3% atm) = 877,8 * 0,053 = 46,52
Life Gain on Hit = (28/2,31) * 0,7 (Ground Slam) = 8,48

1. Shouldnt i have changed to Life Leech already at ( x * 0,053 = 8,48) ergo 160 dps???
2. I assume i can switch safely to Life Leech? :P

If you don't plan a major change (Vaal Pact and/or Hatred Aura) the most effective way to spend your next points is the 5 point with damage in the start of Marauder like this. It's ~ +13.5% phys damage per point thought until you get Butchery it will only be 10% per point.

Gear wise and gem wise you are pretty good. With 2.5 I'd be looking to replace two items. First, your 400pDPS weapon. You'll need to be on the lookout on shops for a bit but with 1 exa you can get up till ~430pDPS and with 2 exa a bit higher. Secondly the chaos res ring, it has good Life roll but only Chaos and bit of Int and Dex besides. You can find something better. A bigger but harder improvement would be to find a way to a 5L, either buy one or craft. Personally I never bothered and gathered all my currency to buy a BoR and use that for my GS.

If you are looking for a major change I'd advise what I did, Vaal Pact and 1 Hatred Aura. Only need few respec points to remove all regen and Blood Magic like this. Besides that you will need 1% or 2% mana leech to sustain your GS. You can get that as a roll on gloves and rings/amulet. Then you will be able to run Hatred linked with Reduced Mana and all your skills on mana and of course insta life steal through Vaal Pact.

First of all this is a guide for new players. This build will help you get a decent build that can in time defeat all difficulties. Sure it is not optimized for damage but that has already been said in the earlier pages of this thread.

Second mind proving it by showing us your build which is exactly like the OP's and the gear you are using then you will have evidence to back up your claim instead of just saying it is a weak build just because I say it is weak.

So mind going by the old phrase putting up or shutting up.
