Normally I would resist commenting on a post like this, but for some reason this one just got to me. I checked your account, you have one character that is level 62, in Standard (I can only assume it's a dead Nemesis character since it has 1 total death). The other characters are level 1, level 4, and level 34.

Yet you're complaining on here about how the drops rates are bad, and how you've leveled "6-7 characters to 60 or higher without finding an Exalted Orb".

Constructive criticism is one thing. Telling flagrant lies on the forum to fit a false narrative is something else entirely.

Our support staff works tremendously hard, around the clock, to ensure that every player gets their concern answered. I sincerely doubt that you've been ignored by support in the three instances you claim you wrote to them.

Whatever personal issues you may have with the game aside, I think you have a hard time with the truth.

I think your main issue was about support, and support has been 100% the greatest from any company I've ever seen.

Still would be nice to get an orb drop on occasion, though.

I don't want to come across as trolling, and maybe I'm just blessed by RNGesus, but it has been my experience that orbs fall like rain while twinking alts/rerolls. I mean, isn't that what those OP leveling uniques are for, to let us gear up to faceroll low level content while maxing IIR so that orb drops while leveling are worthwhile? I have a lvl 42 dualist that I rolled up to enjoy a rare axe with some huge physical damage, Ignomon and Goldrim (Sadima's if you want some overkill, IMO) are all I have needed to pull in, on average, a chaos and an alch drop every hour, on top of jewelers, fusings, chromatics, etc. (it is not uncommon for my toon to have 6+ inventory slots with different orb drops on my "town dumps")

IMO, leveling toons with high IIR is the best way to farm for orbs (and alteration/alch shards). Part of the reason for this is the smaller pool of available drops at lower levels. I perceive that increased IIR at these lower levels appears to trend drops towards Orbs.

I am willing to put out there that players attempt an experiment. Track the number of orb drops (you can include orbs generated through vendor recipes as well) that you get on your highest level character over a two hour period of time. Then roll up a fresh toon, twink it to the gills with high DPS and as much IIR as you can support, and run it for another two hours. Compare orb "generation" rates for each. I posit that the reroll/alt will have a better ratio of orb:time.

Again, totally willing to accept that RNGesus loves me, and that my experiences are fringe case. Although I do think there is merit in my theory.

this is awesome. def a real problem on the forums with people like this. but it doesn't affect my experience with the game, which is important to note. People are missing the point
of these "vendor" uniques. For new players, there needs to be low level uniques dropping to
get them to keep playing. and these drop alot. i have no problem getting a redbeak in a shipyard map, it just means that the drop rates are working even tho i didnt get a valuable unique. I mean look at the distribution of high value uniques up for sale on indexers. This is as it should be with drop rates... you wouldnt want everyone walkin around with 100exalts worth of gear game wouldnt be as fun or tempting to play.

I'm not a huge fan of the term, but it works, and is generally accepted.

With the knowledge you have provided, rest assured that future posts of mine that contain the use of "toon(s)" will do so only as a way to troll you into cringing. Since I am not going to make people cringe by totally butchering the language (which is what rubs me the wrong way, typically), at least I can contribute in my own way.

Back on topic:

Kudos to GGG. IMO, all such awards are justified, PoE is a great game.
