Bandits and Griefing on Hardcore

" It's not even story text. It pops up at the top of your screen, and you literally have to choose which reward you get, which effects who attacks you as well. |

What literally pops up are two big buttons:
HELP BANDIT KILL BANDIT As someone who doesn't read text for story or whatever in this game, I simply clicked kill bandit and that, was that. I seriously can't believe you think the "you should have seen it coming" argument is a valid excuse for the existence of this mechanic. In either case though, it doesn't even matter. Pretty sure this is working as inteded, when u take the quest a pop up comes up explaining exacty what will happen. If anything they could ad in the box a list of who chose what, even then you will have similar issues. Bottm line, only group with ppl u trust for this quest. I may have the npc's back over yours If I feel it benifts me. This is a harsh game world, get used to it.

You suppose to get a reward if you help the bandit,which is different from the others that want to kill it, by dying, it automatically denies the reward and make it irrelevant which pretty much defeats the purpose of the pvp and the winners reward.
The people should fight over the reward and not who will RIP whos HC character and annoy him/her to death. Like i've said , make the loser of the fight to be forced to lose the reward he wanted and give a more rewarding feeling for the guys that won the pvp but do no punish the losers with character loss, thats too much. " You argument is ridiculous. You just completely ignored the reward you got and click random buttons. Instead of trying to make the game idiot-proof, maybe you should take the easy alternative and read something when the choices look ENTIRELY different from any other part of the game. It's like two sentences long. And like you, I've skipped every bit of story in the game. But when something looks vastly different, maybe you should just skim through it a bit. As I've already said, you shouldn't lose your champ this way, but the feature to kill people should still be there. It makes logical sense in comparison to choice you're making. " I usually don't support griefing, but anyone who dies to that quest because they didn't read the big giant warning right on top of the button to continue deserves it. Read the fricken words on your screen, they mean something, they aren't just random letters designed to distract you and make you click extra buttons to skip. |

There are a few "features" in PoE that I really dont like(being able to kill yourself with flasks is one), but like this, are "working as intended".
Ascension tied to Lab is the worst thing GGG has done...apart from GGG's philosophy on Trading. Oh and Gambling Loot boxes. And selling out to tencent.
I used to love GGG. I supported to ensure GGG remained independent, now I just wish I could get my money back. -_- |
