Pro council: Swap GMP for something nice and get the additional arrows for free without damage penalty.

I'm really confused what's best and worried about spending all my currency based on a wrong decision because I'm a noob. :D

Also interested in this. I can't find a good single target setup that is better than TS...

Really confused on what to use for Atziri, I went to her for the first time yesterday and had to swap out TS for something else, so I tried Caustic Arrow as the 4 images just stand still. It dealt hardly any damage to them, and then the adds would repeatedly get to her to heal during that phase. I would literally one shot myself if I tried to use TS at all, even hitting something super far away.

I'm also struggling in general with how to progress at level 92. I feel like I randomly die to something every 5-10 maps which means I'm never gaining any experience. I can run a t14 map and get 3 t13-14 maps and go 'wow, I just got 30-40C for one one. But I didn't get 30-40C, because I have to use these to actually try to level, but I'm not leveling, so what am I spending 30-40C on?'

Should I just only run T8-T12s and sell anything above that while saving for better gear? Will gear not matter at this point because dying to stuff like reflect / lag / standing in void zones / etc. will still kill me?

Am I supposed to be running Atziri / Uber Lab once a day? Am I supposed to be joining 6 man gorge runs continuously and hoping I don't get 1 shot from the super buffed up mobs?

well, your life is almost certainly too low.
none on rats nest, none on maligaros. very low on rings.
what are you 4000-4200?


Without checking I am not sure if you are running chain or extra proj, or pathfinder.
If chain, Atziri is going to be deadly to you in split phase yes.
If not chain, then you can swap to Barrage, you will be able to target barrage much better and avoid the mirror. Should be easy enough. In general some more life, be sure to take a ruby flask and run it for the flameblasts.
TS alternative if you are running chain.. idk. blastrain I guess? Ranged attack totem, to let it dps and suicide, while you run around avoiding aoe ground damage.
Quicklooking at Neversinks op. he has a vid of LA/Blastrain. LA aoe, blast rain bosses. so yeah, probably take blastrain for atziri.

So swap in Blast rain for Atziri. and so weapon swap to a bow with TS, for heal phase trash clear.. Doesn't need to be as strong as your primary dps bow.

Uberlab is an excellent source of maps.

I'm at 4476 life right now

I've never gotten good maps from Uber Lab, maybe some t1-5, but I'm way beyond those now. I can't even sell them for a chisel ..

Edit: And trying to find an upgrade for my right ring seems impossible. Just finding one with the same resistances + 60 life is basically 1E+, and to find anything that would even start to make up for my dps loss is like 5E+. And my current ring isn't even good. That 14 life roll completely screws me. Unless I degrade from my helm or gloves, I don't really have any life upgrades left. I don't think I'll ever be able to get more, because the best in slot items still wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy down the line like Headhunter and a better bow don't offer any additional life. Every death of mine seems to be some combination of stuff I can't prepare for (because I'm just mindlessly spamming TS into 40 mobs and all of a sudden I die because a yellow one had reflect with his pack, or it's -60% flask map and I get hit with bleed from a random beyond mob, or whatever) which defeats the purpose of leveling at this point. But without going into the top tier maps, I can't get any better divination cards or map drops

1. Why do you link Curse-on-Hit to gems without attacks? What am I not understanding about Herald of Thunder? Is that supposed to trigger the curse?
2. Why do you link almost all of your attacks to Physical-to-Lightning and Added Weapon? What's the synergy with lightning do?
3. Why do you link Slower Projectiles to Frenzy?

Neversinks op is a bit outdated here and there.

his pathfinder for example is 6points, with master surgeon and vet bowyer.
Which, while vet bowyer is huge damage. The recommended end game, and possibly even leveling is Master alchemist. The elem DR, and elem status immunity is FAR FAR more powerful, these days, particularly end game maps/bosses.


His screenshots are outdated for Scion-Assassin/raider.
It shows Scion-Raider as, 25% chance to Avoid Elem status, 2% dodge, 10% chance to gain frenzy on kill, and you have phasing and onslaught while on full frenzy charges.
Current in game is, 25% chance to avoid elem status, 4% dodge, 10% chance to gain frenzy on kill, and you have onslaught while on full frenzy.

Scion-Assassin is the same. And still mostly pretty solid. good for farming. meh for bosses.
Scion deadeye. is decent. 30% pierce. 15% chance for attacks to bleed. solid 15%. this will work well with crit, and king of the hill knockback. 30% inc damage farshot.(MUCH weaker then 30% MORE damage from actual deadeye..) +1 projectile. VERY good. esp barrage/TS.
Scion-slayer. culling strike. 30% inc damage vs rare/unique. 10% of overkill damage is leeched as life.. your damaging hits stun enemies on full life.

scion-elementalist or inquisitor both solid if you go elemental heavy.

Scion also requires a whole different passive tree given the starting point.

Thanks for your feedback. Given that I only have a few < 70 characters, and the fact that I really need at least one or two of them to be farmers, would you suggest rolling a new Ranger or run with the Scion in Assassin/Raider form?

Good questions, these don't have intuitive answers.

1. Herald of Thunder indeed triggers the curses if you shock enemies. Personally I use Herald of Ice, which triggers curses on shatter.

2. Physical to Lightning (PtL) doesn't just convert phys to lightning. It also gives (at 20% quality) 10% increased phys damage, 10% increased lightning damage and 29% of physical damage as extra lightning damage. That gives a lot extra damage. Comboes nicely with Weapon Elemental Damage. (What's Added Weapon?)

3. Same as PtL. Slower Projectiles gives (at 20% quality) 10% increased projectile damage and 30% more projectile damage.

this guide is so long that im confused and i dont know at what i should be looking at and i dont know if its hc viable and if it is wich ascendy i should take and what skill tree i should level???
