WED boosts dps more if you are doing 100% elemental damage. My dps in hideout without those gems or any boosts is 25k. If I put Added Fire Damage (level 19, 0% quality), it goes to 32k. If I put WED (level 20, 12% quality) instead, it goes to 41k.

I do 50% lightning damage, 50% fire damage. Some scraps of cold damage.

Don't bother with a Harbinger at this point. Buy a Lioneye's Glare for 1 chaos - to get a Harbinger with equivalent DPS you'll need to shelf out at least 15C and it will not be good enough to do the highest content anyway so you'll replace either down the line.
I'm currently saving up for Reach of the Council which costs a whopping 4 ex in Essence.


Concerning WED vs Added Fire Damage: this depends on how much conversion you have, but you don't need a lot of it for WED to become better. As soon as you have Physical to Lightning, WED will outdamage AFD, and the gap will only increase with every source of elemental damage you have (The Signal Fire quiver, Hatred aura, Herald of Flame aura...). This is mostly due to the fact that WED is a "more" multiplier that affects all of that damage while AFD only adds based on your physical damage, which tends to be about 20% of your total damage at most.

you made a little mistake in your guide at BLAST RAIN. You wrote CONC in green, but it's a blue support gem. As a new player I made a mistake in buying an item. Of course i should have checked before.

But anyway Thanks you for this guide, it has been a great pleasure for me to try it and i learned a lot.

So what about windripper tornado? The tree in 1st post is too old.

The entire guide is old. I used it as a reference for starting out without any knowledge about bow builds but having tried out quite a lot over the last few weeks I've found that a lot of the stuff he recommends just doesn't work too well anymore. It's a very good starting point but don't follow it to the letter, try stuff out and find what worsk for you - he even says it multiple times in the guide.

idk if this has been asked before.. but what is the "Conc" on the blast rain? i was thinking it's concentrated effect but it's color green.. soo maybe it's Cast on critical?

So i switched to pathfinder from deadeye and it feels quite good (got all the flasks and so on) i took the same route as the guide suggests and master herbalist still i am wondering if the poison is worth it or if i rather take another node ? any suggestions ?

Finally crafted a good bow. First time I hit that Merciless mod, crafted a useless resistance mod, then got that Flaring mod from regal. What a lucky day

Now time to level up Elreon to multi craft it (Essence league)
