2.3 Fakener (budget fake Mjölner) build - Trickster Version

Wouldn't the travel time of ice Nova mess up elemental equilibrium? For example, the Discharge and the ice nova go off at the same time, the discharge hits the mob first due to the slow travel time of ice nova. This procs Ele equilibrium, making the mob light resistant.

I think the best way to get EE benefits is to use frenzy charges, but cold snap or herald of ice could work just as well.
Now… a real upgrade to this build would be to branch into low life. Even if it only means two more aurae, the benefits blood rage provides on low life are staggering. It’s just too bad there aren’t enough skill points to get pain attunement.

In fact, I wonder if this tree would work given there is Shavs and enough mana regen on gear.

Would it be of importance to get Saffell's legacy over the nerfed version?

My dagger has add 29-54 cold damage, i don´t use EE (waste of nodes), so, which gem would be better as a 6L blue socket?

-add light. dmg
-fireball

I’d go with added chaos damage because it cannot be reflected. Lightning penetration, however, should land you the most DPS.

Need some gear/gem/build suggestions. Dying a lot, and can't beat Dom cruel at lvl53. The gear I have is just to level me enough til I can go for discharge and get a decent volls, but if I can't level I wont get there :P Here's my gear:

Mind linking your current passive tree for us? I just hit lvl 64 following this build as best I could and I focused my passive specs on health and survival keystones first. Static strike carried me all the way until I got a Voll's fairly early, and I think I was running a 4L cyclone/coc/discharge/bloodmagic in it around lvl 50. It was hard to sustain hp with a blood magic gem, but I figured once I got more crit it would make up for the hp issues, and it did. Now I can run cyclone full time and it doesn't kill me, crit chance on cyclone is 57.7% currently. You just need to get as much hp/crit chance on the tree as you can, and then cap your resistances on gear. I ran Purity of Elements to cap mine for awhile, mixed with grace, and everything else on blood magic.

Yes, the dagger is quite good for the build.

Current setup at lvl 77, can confirm that its absolutely retarded. Using firestorm since I dont like the way Ice Nova works.
