540es 100 life saintly. And no, I wasn't lowlife. Was hitting ~5k life + 6k es. All mana was reserved for defensive auras. Life regen was utilized to run all skills on life.

I noticed none of your linked items had 3 (or more) red sockets, preventing use of CWDT-IC-ID, or CWDT-EC-IC.

What gloves did you use?

How did you deal with the Trio with such a short self cast IC?

How did you handle the spear without CWDT-EC/IC-ID?

What were your resists? Did you run Purity of Ice on glove too? Why did you only get 74% (combined) aura+buff effect? This is 1% shy of an extra 1% max res on purities.

Which shield(s) were used?

I'm curious which character he even used to kill uber...

Highest character on his account is low 80s.

#1 gloves = self crafted gloves
#2, ic was on gloves
#3, ^
#4, This tree isn't optimized since this was close to start of 1.2. Have already found a couple ways to improve it as soon as I died. It is null due to the upcoming tree rework. regardless, was running 2 of the resists on a level 4 empowered. base max res provided for both was 5, not 4. As for the improvement, you can free up one extra node pathing through differently in the templar/witch area.
#5, saffell's frame was used, as would be used by a lot of people attempting to kill uber. The resists provided are amazing. fire/light res was run on level 4 empowered + reduced mana. discipline was the last aura i used for that extra ES buffer. fire/lightning resist sat at a decent 89% unflasked.

@ziggy, if you are going to re-use a name, you delete that char. I'm not the only one to practice this. Regardless, this is not my only account. There is a 24 character limit.

FWIW you can ask GGG to swap names on two chars... I've done that a couple times. No need to delete stuff assuming there's room.
