Muir certainly doesn't fall under the category of haters.

In all my discussions with him he's always been willing to share his knowledge - and his has an impressive technical understanding of the game's mechanics in general - despite the potential competition I was representing, as I was intending on running Uber Atziri eventually just like he was.

He is merely pointing out here what does not seem right in CommanderSauce's story.

I'll organize my reply better tomorrow but I'll post this today already.

My interaction with CommanderSauce began when I became interested in purchasing the Atziri's Acuity he had for sale on Hardcore and have always been pleasant.

The TL;DR of this post though is that while I would really like to be convinced otherwise, I am extremely doubtful that CommanderSauce killed Uber Atziri on a Hardcore League for the following reasons:
-No trace whatsoever of the character he claims to have done the kill with;
-Chronology of events showing odd timings between the purchase of Mjölner and acquisition of the ilvl82 Garb;
-Build, flask set-up and immortal call set-up not checking out (on this point I am following Muir's opinion who has fairly extensive knowledge of the build and extensive experience with Atziri and Uber Atziri on Hardcore, having run a lot of Apex instances and helped Havoc in his Abyss runs)

CommanderSauce says he has killed Uber Atziri on the Hardcore League with a Level 96 Character named EvilHMB belonging to the account named EvilHMB.
CommanderSauce says he has since deleted this character and created a new one with the same name (currently Level 61 Shadow in Standard).

Could anyone help find any trace of this Level 96 Hardcore - dead now - character named EvilHMB? Specifically, I would like to know the following:
- If one deletes a character AND uses said character's name for another character, does the deleted character still appear on the ladder? Talking about a Level 96 character.
- Does poestatistics.com keep track of deleted characters?
- If not, is there any site keeping track of deleted characters?

#4, This tree isn't optimized since this was close to start of 1.2. Have already found a couple ways to improve it as soon as I died. It is null due to the upcoming tree rework. regardless, was running 2 of the resists on a level 4 empowered. base max res provided for both was 5, not 4. As for the improvement, you can free up one extra node pathing through differently in the templar/witch area.
#5, saffell's frame was used, as would be used by a lot of people attempting to kill uber. The resists provided are amazing. fire/light res was run on level 4 empowered + reduced mana. discipline was the last aura i used for that extra ES buffer. fire/lightning resist sat at a decent 89% unflasked.

@ziggy, if you are going to re-use a name, you delete that char. I'm not the only one to practice this. Regardless, this is not my only account. There is a 24 character limit.

if I ever attempt it again, I will make sure to record it.

Doesn't even delve into the chances of getting gloves the first and only time doing it. By itself, that's not really evidence of anything, but it's very weird when put together with this phantom character, the weird chronology, the fact that I've had him on my friends list for a long time and never seen him with a high level character or in high maps, etc. Around the time that this run was supposed to have happened, I was doing 77+ maps 8 hours a day on my character that died at 97, and distinctly remember him levelling a character/chatting in global, and just playing in a way that was completely inconsistent with what I was doing or with someone who had the means necessary to kill uber, regardless of whether it was on another account.

Dude doesn't seem like a bad guy or anything, and I'm certainly not accusing him of anything; I was satisfied with chalking it up to unwarranted suspicion on my part, before Celery's post, but I think there's something decidedly odd about the whole thing.

I have a bunch of dead 91+ characters that I'd be willing to delete in the interests of poestatistics science, if it comes to that.

You said you ran saffells = no block. There's no way you killed the trio like that. You can sustain damage by instant leech, at extreme ticks. E.g Spectral throw + Acuity. You don't even have Vaal Pact, or any lightning leech on gear.

If we assume life leech, we can take a look at your tree for the damage nodes you take. 40% elemental damage and 6% cast speed (irrelevant). Nice damage bro.

Nevertheless, even if you capped lifeleech rate (6k ES, 1440 ES leeched persecond at 24% cap and GR), you'll drop in a second from trio. :)

6-7 Seconds isn't enough, because if you've realised now there are 3 bosses and they each start at 100% hp after a kill. Though, this is based off the CWDT IC i see posted earlier. If you didn't go CWDT, then you'll die to Uber Spear because she can chain 3 of them at extreme speeds one after another.

There's a lot more one could break this down (view above), but i highly doubt this was done. Do it on video and I'll believe you.

While it's possible that it can be done, the possibility of deathless in HC where you Must not die is frankly extremely low.

I've done Uber Trio with 6 Second Immortal Call as a melee, it's basically 20/20 gems with zero inc duration from anywhere else, kinda manageable with 90%+ fire res (Rise of the Phoenix) but also incredibly prone to dying out of nowhere since you get one shot at casting Enduring Cry and if you desync, your dead bar if you log out.

But actually more relevant, someone delete their level 20 or something and remake for poestats science please :D I want to know if his char was 96 Shadow, that proves most I think.

K couple of things are not working to make this thread believeable at all.

1,05 attack speed on mjolner is fucking dead slow without bloodrage on low life meaning horrible attack speed. your tree shows no use of resists, meaning your not running RF, futhermore you do not have any real dmg in the tree as i can see so im gonna assume this is your attempt at saying you can tank the bosses with this build for sustained periods of time. Meaning you would have to tank bosses for A LOT longer than 6 seconds of immortal call.

Not running low life obvously also means less auras so probably no heralds, haste or alike. again further lowering dps. And even with those auras i highly doubt they would make up for difference.

Your also not listing your gloves which you claim is a rare pair. meaning you would have to have t1 strength together with strength on your shield which again is unlinked in order to meet strenth requirements...

normally you would have the strength on gloves through use of meginords or on both boots/gloves to cover the cost of strength. since your chest was a saintly it couldn't have strenth on it unless mastercrafted on and that would still not put you on par with t1 strength.

You claim to have no use of atziri/rumi's flasks to compensate for lack of instant leech. it has been proven trio can be done without instant leech but only through use of highblock/rumi's and atziri flask to increase leech. Without crit this will leave you dry on flasks within long meaning you have to be able to kill them fairly quickly otherwise you will simply not survive. HOWEVER when rainbownuke cleared uber it was first done with 450ES regen on top of 1% leech from belt coupled with rumi's and atziri flask. in Second kill it was done with 750ES regen on top. you are not even remotely close to being able to hit 250 regen.

I generally find this thread to be one big troll thread and a complete waste of time. This dude is clearly either lying or simply put smoking the wacky tobacci. - if he had put any time into this socalled troll thread he would have done his homework.
