What? He's said over and over that he didn't create it, just helped push others to maintain/develop it further. He's also being humble and informative if you ask me.

That is why I warned in my 1st post that GGG need to do something because like what happened in D2, once people realise you can cheat without reprisal people are quick to jump on board, a very slippery slope.

It was implied :) I know the saying. In my country it's mostly implied when using the saying.
And it was exactly was I was trying to say was happening here. People will be tempted. And some will use it.

According to the thread alot of cheaters are autistic or have some physical/mental deficiencies. Who knew.

I didn't say it was the best form of feedback just that it is one.

Some examples of how its used reasonably:
Loot notifications for color blind people. R/G colorblind is a thing and distinguishing socket colors is probably very challenging.
Turning off particles to provide decent performance on low end machines.

These are things you cannot do with PoE alone and arguably have merit to be included in the game.

To all the people going on about QoL shit and stuff, I play on a toaster and stuff like rainy hideouts and docks/shipyard tilesets often make me DC. I play with no sound and likely have missed good drops. However, never even once did I ever think about using any third party program or something to 'enhance' my experience, especially since GGG don't want that. This is their game and we should be respect that fact more.

Some guy in that page complained about how unfair it was that he got killed by magnus offscreen becuase he forgot to turn on his HUD. I mean really? For real?

PoE isn't a gift. It's a product, and it's made GGG profitable as near as I can tell.

I think that the widespread word of the company mercilessly banning cheaters without regard for it's player numbers would bring more new customers in than the action itself would throw out. Sadly, that won't stop cheating and hacking, only slow it down; but it would still send a clear message of the company's interests.

As for that post where someone mentioned an anti-hack feature being added in the last patch and to which the OP in that post even replied with something like "the war has begun" - i'm sure that this is also the reason for that post in the first place. They got a slap in the face so they decided to slap back by bragging with their "army" of users; oh, and to publicly warn everyone of them about the imminent danger.

I just hope that GGG have the option of tracking those people down and we'll hopefully see a similar post about a massive banwave like PoE Garena did a while back.
