What is your honest opniion about Marvel Heroes compared to POE?

POE needs to make and release more content faster, more patches faster, More character options faster aka new skills and passive tree updates. POE leaves a lot to be desired. I mean come most people don't know how half the skills work in this game because the tool tip is a fucking joke.

IF POE wants to be a better game Hire more people to make content faster. Running maps gets old very very very very very fast.





Then give GGG more money because no money, no jobs from GGG to give. And maps are placeholders till all acts are out anyways, and making new chars and builds is the way to go. Not GGGs fault people dont like making new chars the D2 way but rather stick with the WoW mindset of only having 1 char.


I would gladly give GGG more of my money once they make some thing worth my money. and secodnly every transaction in the store feels like a rip off and WAYYy over priced. I mean come on 20$+ just to have a bubble around me for my Dis aura.. give me a fuckin break. I'd pay 5$ for it. ALL the MT need to have there price reduced by at least 50% before they are actually worth it

40$ for a cosmetic armor... really... does it come with a hooker or a hand job? i'd pay 10 to 15$ for it but not 40$.

iF GGG wants to make more money they need to make shit cost less and actually make better shit.

I have no problem with making new characters i personally have 6 level 80's and 4 level 85's. But i would with out a question spend 5$ to respec one of them.

Oh the other thing that would make POE better would be an in game auction house. Stop the 3rd party bull shit sites and make one in game. ANd also regulate the prices of items. Orb drops need to be increased by 50%. EX orb drop rate needs to be increased by at least 80%. i have 800 hrs played and had 2 ex drops. so thats 1 EX per 400 hrs. good luck trying to get new players with that ration OF and then tell them good gear costs 35+ ex orbs AKA 14,000 hrs of farming just for 1 item... thats a fucking joke.

I could make you 2 snakes n ladders boards a day every day for a year, having a little experience with simple brush style level editors for games like Radiant for Quake, UnrealEd for Unreal, Hammer for Valve source games etc, I can take an educated guess that making a tileset for PoE takes a little longer. So does making items that have to fit in the balance of so many mechanics.

Honestly PoE does a superb job of putting out content, look at the content released by Blizzard over the past 3 years, think about their budgets. I feel like expecting more than PoE puts out is highly unrealistic, the amount of content they deliver is amazing. I dont know much about Marv Heros, I hear a lot of bad things about it and some good. I cant really comment on the quantity or quality of their content updates but I get the impression its a far more simplistic game which in itself makes for easier updating and adding.

I dont think maps are place holders though, when theres 10 acts there will be 1 game difficulty, probably stopping somewhere between lvl66 and 70, and then there will be maps, theres always going to be maps. Fairly sure theyve said theyre not placeholders or intended to be replaced eventually. Theyre moving down to 2 difficulties when theres 5 acts in the game, so...

I agree with buffing orb drops, but if they double the number of exalts that drop the price of everything will double, it would only be crafting that would become "cheaper" if u will. AH and price regulating tho? rly? Everyones entitled to their opinion so if thats how you feel, fair play, but honestly thats never going to happen, I feel like most people know why and agree with what GGG are doing.

I agree with you that maps are not a place holder and there not going any were. Maps are the end game. ANd Maps are boring as fuck after you do the same map 100X. We need RANDOM maps. AKA dont name it other then random.

They need to rush act 4 and 5 then.

Why always these comparison threads? That would be like if i compared bioshock infinite to modern warfare. Different games, different play styles. Still both good.

I hope you are joking about blizzard? They were literally THE best company for many years and rightly so. Look at warcraft 3/ starcraft / diablo 2 generation of games. All of their IPs were absolutely amazing. Then activision took over and as Activision Blizzard are a different company and all of their games are absolutely disgraceful. It's quite sad how they managed to ruin all 3 franchises in such quick fashion but it is what it is.
Cons:
It was released in an unfinished state.
The constant respawning enemies is a design choice, but I feel it is a poor one.
The main tinkering (lolFixes) with the game is the cash shop - not the game.
Everything feels floaty.
Mindless skill tree.
Bad loot.

Pros:
It has Doctor Strange.

Pretty much no intelligent person would agree with you on that. Out of all the bad developers (Korean every game made, Peter Molyneaux, KS/Early access beggars, etc etc x infinity) Blizz doesnt even scratch the surface of bad.

They are the only bastions of RTS left, the revolutionized the MMO market, they made a goddamned fun and fair f2p CCG that turned the entire genre on its head and they do this while still being bought by the Activision assholes.

I hardly even play Bliz games but I'm smart enough to realize they still care about the product they put out and they are consistently decent if not great games.

When I was a teenager it was really cool to hate things that are popular. Then I grew the fuck up.
I'd love to see some of those MH developers working for GGG. I think many weaknesses in MH are due to unsavory business decisions.
