The problem with not using life leech gem is that boss fights get rippy because of the reduced curse
effectiveness. And of course hexproof maps gets impossible. I tested a lot of combos to try and ditch life leech gem but in the end I found it necessary to have, there just wasn't any other sources of leech that good enough to make it possible to facetank bosses. I had cold leech on dagger, Doryani's belt for leech, Atziri flask and Warlords mark with Blasphemy. Kitty's Guide On Post Formatting - view-thread/1913874

I played a very similar build on Prophecy. But I didn't play since then until now... so I need a refresher from someone:
1) Can someone remind me what the CoC cooldown was before the nerf? It's 500ms now right? 2) Why does this build use EK + Bladefall. Since only 1 spell can be cast every 500ms, doesn't it help to just have one spell? Thanks in advance for answers! |

1: Yes its 500ms 2: Its 500 MS per Spell, so 1 Spell = 2 Casts per second, 2 Spells = 4 Casts per second. So it would be very bad to only have 1 Spell. Current Builds:

Anyone tried Skin of the Loyal with this build?
I mean we get +1 level of socketed gems(nice dps boost), cheap 6l, and that 100% inc. ES, with nice ES shield and boots and uniques with good ES i think it can easily replace 500ES chest? Thats teorycrafting only :) Would like to see it, but not losing 20-25c (with right colours) :) |

i used it for leveling with my Raider Version. Its ok but it was not near to the ES a 500+ Chest gave me. But maybe it works better as Trickster as you get more ES from the Ascendancy.

" Yeah, maybe :) If i get some currency, i`ll try, but i found 600ES 5L chest for 20c. And Skin with colours we need is 25c. Skin is definetly great for dps. |

" Ey! Im here again. I leveled my character during the last three days until 80 using Skin of the loyal. With my gear and trickster i reached 10200 ES with loyal and tried a 600 ES chest and reached 10800. That is the difference. My loyal cost me 12c and i have more dmg thanks to +1. At the end you should choose between more dmg with loyal or evasion and just a little more ES with a sadist or carnal, that can cost 300c six link. This my gear now

Note: Granite flask is much better than Basalt. My stats in ho without charges and no flasks are: 10500 ES 10300 Bladefall 11800 EK 72% Crit Cyclone 77% Crit EK 67.3% Crit Bladefall 400% Multiplier with Spells All resis 140+ 6% Physical reduction 30% Chance to evade You can check my tree in my profile, need more lvl, still missing 2 jew nodes, flask nodes and some ES and spell dmg. |

Another question, in passive tree we are supposed to pick couple of %reduced mana reservation nodes.
But with Vertex and only one %4 reduced mana reservation node i have enough for all auras. Active skills(Cyclone and Whirlwing blades) are free from Ascendancy, and all other skills are auto-cast via Cast When Damage Taken, so we dont need mana for them. I mean, its clear we do that for effect of aura skills nodes, behind those reduced mana reservation nodes, but we can to that more efectively with other points for aura skills from tree. Or i`m missing something? |

" If you have enlighten 2 in vertex, will be 3 and need one 4% reserved (near to Chaos inoculation). If you have lvl 3 enlighten in vertex, will be 4, and you dont need any reserved node. You can check my tree in my profile. In the best situation and not cheap... without vertex and lvl 4 enlighten, you can use an hubris circle and any reserved mana node. You dont need your mana or aura effectivness, only to carry your auras. |
